What the 2nd amendment REALLY means.
There's been a lot of talk about the 2nd amendment lately, due to the fact, mostly because of the Sandy Hook nonsense. People are starting to feel afraid their children will be victims, or them themselves be a victim of a firearm. I HATE some Americans are really wanting gun control policies enforced. I personally believe this Sandy Hook event was not legitimate, but I will not go into detail regarding that.

The true purpose of our 2nd amendment is pretty simple. It gives us the power to setup our own militia (This is NOT part of the U.S. military.) The purpose of a trained volunteer militia, is to make sure our liberties are not infringed, and to promote the security of a free state. If the government does indeed become too powerful, or does not comply with what we want. It is our duty as citizens to fight against it. It also is there to insure you to own your personal firearm, to protect yourself from burglars, or any other wrong-doer.

Another smaller reason it is there, is if in a time of war, you will be able to defend yourself, and your family, if invaders seek to harm you. After all you can't just wait around for the military to show up, by then it could be to late. (That is IF the U.S. were to be invaded in a future war.)

A lot of people think the 2nd amendment is just there giving us the right to own a firearm. This is true, however, people do not seem to think WHY they would need the firearm in the first place; PROTECTION. From foreign and domestic invaders, as well as protection from our own government. Just remember, the government was set up to serve YOU, and if they are not, it's your JOB to make sure they do. It's a shame that we don't exactly have an organised militia setup today. There are some, but they are, for the most part, small rag-tag bands of citizens.

Our 4-7 amendment have already been attacked. And if our 2nd starts getting attacked, it could really hurt whats left of our liberties. Let's just hope our 1st amendment isn't also put on the chopping block.

Truthfully I have come to the conclusion, hypothetically speaking - America cannot literally afford her debts anymore.

And possibly the creditors may try to seize those assets.

And we cannot actually afford to bring our troops home, who're scattered across the world.

There are two 'factions' left, truthfully. Those serving the creditors... and the vastly smaller minority who serve to preserve what is left.

Just my 2cp.

Here's the paradox of the whole thing. You have a shitty little piece of paper that says you have a right. If everyone respects the piece of paper, there is no problem and you don't really need it, or the right scribbled on it for that matter. Everybody recognizes the right whether it's written on the shitty little piece of paper or not.

On the other hand if you have the shitty little piece of paper with the right scribbled on it and nobody recognizes the right, then you don't have the right, and that's when you really need it. Either way it's just a shitty little piece of paper that doesn't mean anything.

Fuck the shitty little piece of paper and what it says and doesn't say, what it grants and what it doesn't grant. You just say, "I have a fucking gun and I'm going to kill you with it if you try to take it from me." Short, sweet, to the point, avoiding any bullshit arguments this asshole or that may have. And leave it at that.

People are way to hung up on their shitty little pieces of paper.
