Though new techniques and machinery may eliminate or reduce jobs, they also create new jobs. Robots will need programmers, mechanics, etc... They must hire the local college girls to go and wave the sign. There is a girl I always see and shes fine, I pass by her daily and want to get my car washed to go talk to her and tell her whats up girl! I swear if a robot replaces her i will get off and beat the fuck out of it. They also have a local bar type deal, where girls in bikinis either sit on this stage type thing and wave or stand and wave to get your attention to go in this place, where you pull and get alcoholic drinks like a damn drive thru, lol. Now i dont know how it works exactly, im guessing you park like you are at sonic and drink your drink and hit the road, i dont know. |

I feel sorry for every single person I drive by when I see them working this gig... I have certainly never been inspired to actually pull over and buy a pizza, or a mattress or whatever the f they're promoting. I frequently have thought "why not just have the sign on some sort of spring, so it waves back and forth? why the hell do they need a human being out there waving a sign?" So, they figured it out: a mannequin with a motorized sign. This is hardly a sign of a "robot takeover". How about learning some skills so you can aspire to get a better job than "sign waver"?? Morans... |
