Well to be honest most of the people who claim benefits went to government funded ones, you don't see many people from Eton, Harrow etc claiming benefit . Not saying there isn't but if you want to throw that one out there be prepared to have it thrown back. I went to a comp. got an education, didn't go to Uni, but I've ended up in a better job than my parents and a better house, worked for it save d for it and t be honest I'm sick and fucking tired of paying towards 180 billion welfare bill

We gave you welfare to fund your teachers the entire time you were raised and you don't want to pay it back because you think you're now better than your parents who couldn't afford tuition and had to depend on the state? How would paying for a lifetime of social housing benefit anybody else other than the recipient?

It's not as drastic as OP is making out. Basically people in social housing, with more bedrooms than they use will be asked to pay up or relocate. They will be allowed to sublet the spare room to cover the tax if they choose to.

We'll it's either the big empty or the Big red. Just make sure Canada lets in the Best and the Brightest. You will be the next Global economic super-power. The US and UK opened their borders to cheap labor in an compulsively pathetic greedy attempt to lower wage demands and fuck with worker unions for instant fun.
China is a cheap unsustainable economic joke that sends Multinational spokesmen into an orgasmic circle-jerk.

Careful who you vote for and let in..The example is out there and it's as ugly as David Scamoran, the half white or Bibi Nuttyyahoo

If the great collapse is coming nowhere will be safe in the west.

If anything north america may well be more dangerous as every city will probably turn into sarajevo.

The US has a high density of firearms, and those guns will flood canada too.

You may even get militias and crap fleeing the US and crossing the border into canada.

If the US government cant stop the rioting and disorder you think the border will hold up? not a chance.

Imagine every major US city 10x worse than katrina with it being unsafe in the day from sniper fire.

This is of course ignoring the potential for another world war.

This makes me think of that phrase 'daylight robbery' and how it came to be.

For those who don't know that phrase comes from England around 1700 when there was a tax put in place on properties with a certain amount of windows, and people enmassed started bricking up and blacking out / blocking out windows.

I will explain the game once.

The only people that complain about the poor are the poor and working poor.
They whine that the other guy got more benefits, that the other guy stayed on benefits longer, that they are miserable "working their fingers to the bone" so they want company in their misery...so of course it should be the other miserable sod. They claim they are the only success story, or the only one worthy and that everyone else is a loser.

The wealthy don't have to do a thing other than run an article in a paper suggesting that poor people are worthless and deserving of less, and then poor run with it and eat each other alive and the cuts are made.

It's the way the game is run.
I cannot change it.
The poor will always hate the poor.
And yes, if you are hurt by the amount of taxes you are paying, then you are not financially comfortable and you are in fact working poor.

Sadly, I'm not making this up.
On an emotional level it makes me want to slam my head into a wall watching you people self harm into oblivion.
On an academic and professional level I applaud the effective psychology and strategy that gets you to play right into the trap.

You didn't really think your taxes would go down because the poor got less, did you?

Not sure about this one as it will put people on the houseing waiting list and then you will have to pay for there hotel stay untill they are found the correct size of houseing.

Not only that but if you have two children under the age of 10 years in two separate rooms then they have to pay the tax as the two children (whether girl and boy) need only one bed room accourding to the government.

Re: uk bedroom tax,the road to riots
What I want to know is, when did the reduction in a handout become a "tax"? Tell you what, I'll gladly pay a $25,000 yearly tax if it's in the form of the government promising to give me $100,000 per year but only giving me $75,000.

This terminology is the same left-wing spin that makes a reduction in the rate of increase in spending on something a "budget cut", and the government graciously allowing to keep your money an "expenditure" that has to be offset by tax increases elsewhere. The fact that people even adopt these weasel words without thinking is one of the reasons they are so easily led. And misled.

To defeat the left-wing spin in this case, simply insist that you call the proposal what it is: A "right-size house incentive", designed to make sure that smaller families are encouraged to live in smaller houses, and larger families have access to larger houses. It's a hell of a lot to argue for a "right-size house incentive"than it is to argue for a "bedroom tax".

I think civil unrest is very close. I am not sure how long it will take but when it does I hope it kicks off in a big way. Look how inept the government was during the last riots and that was just a bunch of chavs robbing tv's and odd trainers. Maybe when all the Bulgarians and Romanians are given the green light to emigrate that will be the straw that breaks the camels back?
