sounds like something we all need to keep an eye on. They are crazy people and may try something, one never knows.

Usually because South Korea backs down (propaganda balloons, no retaliation over the sinking of the Cheonan, no retaliation over the shelling of Yonpyong island, etc, etc, etc).

The same cannot be said for Japan and N.Korea (if Japan is provoked). There's a right-wing hawk sitting in the Japan PM's office running the show. He'd open the cannons if N.Korea did so much as sneezed on his country.

In South Korea, they don't have such a leader.

The most recent article I can find was written 8 hours ago and states that Iran is not opposed to talks and the P5 + 1 is awaiting an official response.
