Good Bye Canadian Penny
Distribution of the Canadian Penny is ending today.

It was actually made of steel or zinc and copper or mostly copper (in earlier times). So it is now probably worth more than one 1/100 of a dollar.

Would it also be too expensive to make it out of plastic? (like the rest of our worthless money).

What do you think their agenda is with this? Is it simply a sign of our ever increasing inflation?

Is it part of a transition to a completely electronic currency?

Should I save all of my pre-1997 pennies?

So when you go to a dollar store, buy 1 item, how do you get your change?

Re: Good Bye Canadian Penny
you should save them anyway since they're worth something in copper to start with. I'd save all of em now though, since even the post 97 ones will likely have some value going forward.
No one is perfect. A babe before walking will first stumble and fall many times but NEVER gives up until he succeeds.

Always remember, ultimately, to never follow any person's belief. Your relationship with God is between you and God.

If nothing else, remember this: religion = subservience, control and conformity, the same template as EVERY government

"Most believers would kill truth if truth threatened their religion." L. K. Washburn

"This crime called blasphemy was invented by priests for the purpose of defending doctrines not able to take care of themselves." Robert Ingersoll

"If anyone wants to know how God feels, it's a warm light as if the sun is poking through dark clouds and lifting your spirits with pure joy."

I could care less that the penny is gone, less change to have to carry around.
BTW, I like our colorful plastic bills, they go the wash allot better then the old ones. Lol
