A couple of years ago, I tried Chia seeds as a way to help lose weight. It did work, but it got boring eating the gel before each meal. That was how I was taught to do it, never thinking to try adding the seeds to yogurt, oatmeal, cream cheese, etc instead of the gel. They don't really have any taste, although on brand had a very very slight hint of a nutty taste, but it didn't bother me, and when added to other food items, you couldn't taste it at all.
Anyone else eat them? Have you had a positive or negative experience with them? Supposedly, they are also very high in nutrition. Curious to see how others use them and how they feel after consuming them for a month or two. |

been using them for a while (6 months +) use hem in a lot of things. salads, soups, pancakes, smoothies, anything that could use a little extra protein. I also take chia oil caps. The gel is a little off putting in some instances but a great thickener. I intend to make them a regular part of my pantry. I have even sprouted them. |
