Perhaps you might want to do some independent reading simply about the teachings of Jesus, to decide whether you would want to consider yourself simply 'a follower of Jesus' without labelling yourself with any religion. Or if you truly believe that the ways of the Old Testament are the truest and most valid, please do some study about both Judaism and about Islam before undertaking to convert to anything. Visit with various clergymen -- including rabbis, pastors, and imams -- before undertaking any conversion. Please give yourself a time to step back and study and learn. While the Quran does not replace what the NT covers it does give Gentiles an option that is apart from a blind Jew and a False Christian and the words in it seem to be directed at Gentiles that would be from the OT so they are covering the same time (and Laws) from when the 10 Commandments were given. |

Religion was a way of the supposed leaders and betters to explain what they didn't know or understand and for control, after all it's much easier to control sheep than wolves. They were a sign from god etc. No they weren't, they were pieces of rock and minerals and elements burning up as thet entered the atmosphere but hey if it makes you feel better about yourself you keep with a false doctrine.
