There are 3 Other Asteroids Inbound on the same day as DA14. February 14 2013

It's weird but I guess there no better time than now. I mean, NASA could call this conference just to quell fears about the asteroid and reassure everyone is safe; just like how they made the video stating nothing was going to happen dec21.

But then, they could actually have something, and it's the time to tell because there's nothing more they can do to hide it.

I guess we'll see during the press conference later today.
Btw 2pm is a pretty interesting choice of time for a press conference...

for a roid to have any influence on the earth it would have to be fucking miles wide, talking 5-6 miles wide and pass direct into our path.

And I bet we'll be just fine come the 15-16. People saying that these little asteroids are going to impact Earth have presented *no* evidence to back it up.
Besides, I don't believe NASA would cover something like this up. And even if they did, how would they silence all the independent astronomers in the world? If there was a chance of impact from any of these, the independents would make it known. Without a doubt.

When the time comes, and the word comes out for them to maneuver their satelites from point a to b, I guess we'll experience first hand if they were successful or not.

There are pretty much no satellites anywhere near DA14's projected path.

And with DA14s projected path changing daily.... .17 .09, you know this how? Do you know it's mass? It's composition? Do you know how much it's mass will be affected by the gravitational lure of the earth? How do you know? Link?

I would really love to see some proof of what you say, honestly. It would put my mind at ease.

Should make for a helluva fireworks show. The actual number of Hiroshima bombs this thing will generate is more like 90, and seeing that the Hiroshima bomb took out 150,000 people, we're only looking at 13,500,000 dead. That's about 6% of the US population, which is about 2% lower than the current unemployment rate. This ain't exactly doom, yo..

There are alot of forces at work. The Sun. The Galactic Alignment. The Ort Belt. The Magnetic Ribbon. The Black Hole. The Magnetic Drop in our poles. The Rip in the Magnetoshere. Planet Alignments. Full Moons.

But certain Asteroids that have passed by our planet before have brought with them Earthquakes which corispond with their passing.

Don't forget with some of these asteroids there are historical records because they have gone round so many times.

Da14 is not the one causing the Quakes. The other two are very suspect.
