Im willing to bet that Dorner was a member of that forum, and a whole lot of others do as well, given a lot of specific things he references

No, really there has been a lot of cop bashing in that thread and what not and nobody's doing anything about it.

Hell at Glocktalk, youd think it was run by nazi's. They allow ZERO discussion of anything law enforcement related in GD anymore. Ive never liked the nazi attitude of the mods there. Its all political.

Never been to GT.

Ed and i have had our differences. Chuck and that liar TBK as well.

They never cared for me speaking my mind or making salient points that clarified confused situations.

Just be aware.. if the feds come askin about you there, they will PRINT OFF YOUR ENTIRE POSTING HISTORY, EMAILS, PM BOX and any other keystroke you made there.

i have seen it done.

They are in it for the money and will throw you under the fed bus in a nanosecond.

be warned.

Re: Manhunt for former LA Police Officer
"During this BOR hearing a video was played for the BOR panel where Christopher Gettler stated that he was indeed kicked by Officer Evans (video sent to multiple news agencies)"

Has any news agency released this video yet? Or mentioned it?
 Quoting: BossBitch

That's what is really pissing me off about the "coverage" of this event, especially HuffPo. He may indeed be sensitive, narcissistic, etc, AND he was railroaded by the culture of corruption that is the LAPD. He has video proof of his claims (a fact not widely reported) FFS. He is a deeply unhinged individual AND has very legitimate gripes with the system. But the entire slant of media right now is to paint him as nothing but a crazed nutcase, deliberately obscuring the very real context in which all this occurred.

I wonder if this is not part of his plan, to provoke the LAPD to such an extent that they show their true colors for all to see(eg. blowing the frack out of trucks that didn't even fit the description given).

Life is rarely so black and white that it fits neatly into 30 second media sound bits.
 Quoting: Anonymouse Coward 1081790

people, i live here in la county. tell me what you really think about that shooting! the cops for the most part are that way period!

if those delivery people were illegal this is what the cops lawyer should do. call la times and say handle it, you pay the suit/ or we sue you!

Im going with elusive. That father/son team that was shooting people out of their car killed more people in a shorter amount of time.

Edited to say: Thats wrong, it took a few weeks to capture them. Time will tell i guess

Re: Manhunt for former LA Police Officer
Ok I have been following this since the beginning, this is my first post on the subject. The biggest thing that stands out is the lack of real information out there. We are told he is a bad ass that he was very good at his job and is one of the best of his training class very strong very well armed etc..
yet they say he is leaving gear all over the place and not in commonsense cache locations. for example he left a helmet belt and ammo in a dumpster WTF if he was planning on coming back for it why not in a drain under some rocks behind or in a grease dumpster one that would not be checked or thrown out regularly.

Then he supposedly left weapons and cold weather gear in a truck he then set on fire. where is the inventory list of what was in the truck? why wouldn't he bury the gear and rifle nearby as a back up, if all else fails.
why would he torch it what weapons where found where they like 22s or his .50 cal that makes a huge difference as far as analyzing this goes if it was what could be considered a primary weapon he may be trying to give up and dispose of his weapons. who knows what is going through his head now if its a simple bolt action or 22 that was found. that would tell me he is trying to leave false clues but without real information from the authorities we are at a serious disadvantage to try and figure this out.

I've seen in MSM the long guns in the burned out truck were ar15's with silencers. Dumpster site was I believe just random bullets and a helmet. IDK what the trashing of stuff is all about. Odd to say the least. I think they are more worried about the Berrett 50 he claims to have more than anything.

He is either a frozen pop or holed up somewhere. I also read there are like 200 abandoned cabins up on Big Bear that is if he is still there. Seems like he had time to double back on his tracks, burn his shit, so maybe time to get away. It is interesting imo. All of the above is just what I have read and linked to here when possible. I totally agree with latter statement but until he is found I am like a pitbull with a bone. lol.

seems like since he knows the workings

he would leave stuff all over the place

cause each time he does, he would know that they would spend time and energy and tests on each find

that would take manpower i would think

and if each is a false lead mixed in wtih a real then he would tie up alot of brainpower in useless non pattern

...and last I heard, LAPD was still on tactical alert, meaning all officers on duty as well as 24 hour stakeouts at the houses of targets he named, one of whom stated he has not left his house since this began. (That last in a CBS news link somewhere prior in this thread.)

just adding some info:

the first shootout between Dorner and police, in Corona,
with the police car involved pictured here
[link to blogs.mydesert.com]

happened here:
[link to maps.google.com]

a closer image of that car-
[link to media.redding.com]

and from the front:
[link to www.trbimg.com]

Dorner was being followed, got off the interstate, stopped his truck and fired into the front of this police car, allowing himself to get away.

Then continuing a few miles on further down this road is where he got ino the second shootout with Riverside police, killing one of them at this intersection:
[link to maps.google.com]

So far the only targeted killing it is believed that he committed is that of Quan and Lawrence, the daughter of an LAPD officer and her fiance on top of a parking deck in Irvine, Ca. So he hasnt killed any actual LAPD yet.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Dorner's truck is parked in front of his Las Vegas house in this google streetview shot:

[link to maps.google.com]

and, his truck now:

Here is a listing for his LV house that I found:
