Not sure if this has been posted:

"It was revealed that Dorner has become the first human target for remotely-controlled airborne drones on US soil."

[link to www.express.co.uk]
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31502749

Why is this news outlet saying that Dorner shot those two people when no one knows for sure who shot them. Everyone is guilty until proven innocent now? Maybe the cops shot them not Dorner.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23657849

The daughter's father was mentioned in the manifesto
 Quoting: ampedin

My point is no one knows if Dorner shot them, or the cops shot them. And nobody knows for sure if Dorner wrote the manifesto either, since there seems to be several versions of it anyway. Something reeks about the whole thing.

Re: California Manhunt
Does anyone know what evidence there was that lead the police to suspect him in the first two homicides? Discounting "the manifesto", as that was found after he was already considered a suspect. Witnesses?

I just read that the LAPD came across the manifesto after links were sent via Twitter. Does anyone have a link to the "tweets" that linked to the manifesto? Or screen shot of the tweets?

The Facebook page where the manifesto was found was created shortly before all of this took place? I don't suppose anyone was able to get screen shots before it was removed?

Maybe I am confused, I have just started really reading about this....seems sketchy to me.

I think youre incorrect that the manifesto was evidence found after he became him a suspect. Rather, that is what made him a suspect in the first place. The only evidence that I know of is the manifesto.

That made him a suspect. When they found him on the highway and followed him to try and stop him, he opened fire on the officers.Thats all Ive heard so far.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33968321

That would be an incredible coincidence considering the two officers in the shootout were named personally in the manifesto.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27771439

Correction - None of the shootouts with cops were people listed in the manifesto.
 Quoting: BunnyGirl

Thats right. Both officer shootings (two oficers at each, about 5 miles apart) were with officers Dorner was trying to get away from.

So far the only targeted killing it is believed that he committed is that of Quan and Lawrence, the daughter of an LAPD officer and her fiance on top of a parking deck in Irvine, Ca. So he hasnt killed any actual LAPD yet.

 Quoting: BunnyGirl

Aw here's part of the answer

"LAPD Chief Beck says it was "amazingly, amazingly easy" to gather the $1M reward from very willing community members"

I don't think I'd be so quick to put up any money like that unless I had heard evidence linking him to the crime other than a multiple version manifesto posted on a suspicious facebook page. Folks are buying into the fear rather than thinking rationally and asking questions.

Re: California Manhunt
Yes folks thats the only thing they claim to have to go on here. And btw that facebook account was created only 2 weeks ago, with ZERO friends, and no comments. He posted over a total of SIX days. Who did he expect to see the manifesto? Nobody was reading his facebook account.

Is there a possibility that the Irvine murders might be a separate incident than the cop shootings? Is there a possibility that this guy did not start the facebook page? Until we have the answers to those two questions (such as what weapons used in both murders, maybe some surveillance video, perhaps chasing down an IP address of facebook editor, etc) I'm not buying this story.
 Quoting: BunnyGirl

I got the feeling this guy was smart enough to create a presence for the media to grab hold of before starting his war.

What horrible pics would they have found elsewhere to splatter all over the news? He wanted to give the public a personality they could identify with and warm up to.

...I mean come on! Look at that smile! The guy has heart and looks like an honorable badass in service of his country.

Now take someone like that and fuck them in the ass like the LAPD did and you get what you have now. They ruined his life cause some stupid pig bitch had to kick a mentally retarded kid in the face after he was already restrained and this guy's conscious could not simply ignore that so he did something about it and they ruined him for it. Not just his job but his military career which was something he was very proud of.

These pigs are going to get what they deserve and they are the one's who caused this. NOT Dorner! they put him on this path that he now feel obligated to carry out. They took everything from him for nothing and what does a man do once he has nothing left to lose?

When there is no justice left what is one to do? ...well this guy is using his skills and training to do what he can.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8443185

Wrong. HE is responsible for what he did. Many people are pushed to the brink, for many different reasons. When no justice is left what is one to do?! Really?? One is to deal with it. Not go on a sociopathic rage filled murdering spree.
 Quoting: Little Willow

How many TRUCKS has RamBro been in? Is this like that movie Legend of Billie Jean where the people take her from place to place and hide her out until she gets safely to the media?

Did this guy kill those people and where/what is the evidence? I don't support him but he has a story that needs telling and if I were LAPD I would let him tell it....especially if the public has created an underground railroad for him....

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29015621

Its unlikely anyone has created an underground railroad for him.

He's a loner psycho who thinks he is going to 'clear his name' by murdering innocent men, women, and children. Those kind of people usually dont seek or recieve help from others.

Im going with elusive. That father/son team that was shooting people out of their car killed more people in a shorter amount of time.

Edited to say: Thats wrong, it took a few weeks to capture them. Time will tell i guess
 Quoting: BossBitch

If you are referring to the "DC sniper" case.. which by the way.. he was not a sniper.

that was NOT a father and son.

it was a black muslim convert and a 17 year old follower.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33337354

whenever you "lay-in wait" and shoot somebody, that's a "sniper", dumbass.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33351085

Dorner's command of English, as it is used in security-related documents, is deficient in understanding.

He just wrote stuff that sounded all tactical.

One line from his manifesto:

"I will mitigate all risks, threats and hazards. "

To mitigate a threat is to minimize it, to make it lesser, or more manageable. Example: If you have mice get inside your house, you can mitigate the threat of them spreading by putting out traps and closing off holes.
 Quoting: goodmockingbird

This is what I'd expect from an affirmative action promoted type like Droner. He's the "word if the day" type boss that try's to expand his vocabulary without actually reading books or even understanding 50 cent words..Very common with incognizant incincompets. (People that aren't smart enough to realize they are incompetent,, this is very common with blacks whose median IQ of 80 creates the need to promote incompetents)

B HO, and the wookie are also prime examples of this phenomena...

I wonder how long we'll have to tolerate black incompetence and inferiority?

Re: California Manhunt
only 25 people now actively searching for Dorner on Big Bear

Im kind of surprised by this scale down of the manpower.

Big Bear not a big mountain -
After day 3 - he's either moved through the area early on or was never there

He's laying low if he isn't already dead or never existed.
It's gonna give them time to tighten the noose.

although 1 million bounty, they going to be inundated with sightings. LAPD chief cannot apprehend suspect, he needs your help. That speaks volumes as to how safe we are depending on the system.

And they want us to give up our weapons ..... hmmmm

Best pro gun propaganda since Obama announced gun control.

and still no one says anything about what all this costs or who is going to pay for it.

Re: California Manhunt
Not sure if this has been posted:

"It was revealed that Dorner has become the first human target for remotely-controlled airborne drones on US soil."

Why is this news outlet saying that Dorner shot those two people when no one knows for sure who shot them. Everyone is guilty until proven innocent now? Maybe the cops shot them not Dorner.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23657849

Because this is a SET UP! PSY OP! Dorner = DRONE anagram. "Dorner has become the first human target for remotely-controlled airborne drones on US soil." This happens in the biggest attempted gun grab in Cali history & the grilling of leacherous Brennan about his and beloved DRONE program & this administration's carte blanche targeting of American citizens! TOO MUCH! I just don't buy what they are selling, no effin' way!

WOW... That would be too much of a coincidence if the first American deemed a terrorist (per White House Order this past Tuesday) was killed on American soil with a drone, had a name which was an anagram of "drone". Too much for the mind to take in. Thank you RequiemDream (Ghost) for pointing out the anagram of his name. Mind blowing coincidence if it happens.

/\ This last one should have clearly caught both Dorner and the police car in the shootout.
