If a cycle of time is about 26,000 years long what is a year or two in the grand scheme of things? After all more years then that we're rounded to fit the number in the pea brain of man. So what of several months then?

It should be looked at as if it were New Year's Eve at the stroke of midnight. A few seconds are not even registered in man's mind as they kiss. A few years are likened to the seconds lost in the great New Years period of time.
