"This compassionate documentary examines the daily routines and experiences of prostitutes in Bangladesh, Mexico and a Thai brothel called the Fishtank, where prostitutes sit behind glass waiting for johns to choose them."

Is it moving and touching?

I just watched "Whore's Glory" this weekend, and it was definitely sad and eye opening, but I have to say I think it made me realize that many are better off than a typical American working for a living. Has anyone else seen this sweet little gem.

I have seen it. The young girls- I forget which country they were from- where they were all in like a tacklebox and arguing and fighting over customers- that was horrifying.

Also, there was a mother who dropped her daughter off since she couldn't pay for her any longer.

It was moving at points.

The fish tank. They were sitting like lobsters and regular and scary dudes were ogling them, and making their purchase. The girls were absolutely gorgeous too.

It was sad, but it helped me feel more compassion for what prostitutes have to go through. I stopped watching once they got to the Mexico portion because the guys "cruising" were just sickening me. I wonder if they would view these women like that if their own mothers or sisters were forced to be prostitutes.
