US and japan sink the china's navy, destroy its airforce and puts a blockade on china that will crush its export based economy. atm china is no match for the usa or japan when it comes to naval or air battles.
and thats the reason there wont be a conflict bettwen japan and china for atlast the next 15years, the chinese are not stupid enoght to go to war with japan and the usa.

If they're going to play that game they'd be as well bringing a lot of chips. Do they want to go all in? That's doggy, because all-in would involve the states. IF they choose all-in, I can see them going after Taiwan, and N Korea going after the South.

But I really doubt they'll go all in. Much as Hitler stole a bit at first, and the Japanese stole a bit from Russia, I can see China trying to steal a bit. If they can push Japan sufficiently that the Japanese economy takes a hit, Japan might back down. And the States most definitely doesn't want to go all in, so would accept such a statemate.

So if it's going to happen, my bet's on an attempt to make a steal and raise international cred. I don't see WW3.

Well, I remember not too long back our pres and their pres had some hardcore private meetings. What if they made an agreement, they get Japan/Taiwan we get the mid east. Maybe they go at japan and then forgive us of all our debt they bought, and we pound Iran and Syria, taking control of mideast, while they dominate asia

China is getting ready for the big takeover. In the 90's and 2000's Japan moved all her factories to China just like America did. They'll have this little war. It won't last long but in the process China will confiscate all Japan's production facilities in China and that will be the end of Japan as an industrial power.

They'll do the same one day to the US. One day the CEOs of all the big companies in America are going to wake up and go into work. There will be a Fedex package on their desk from Beijing. One piece of paper, 6 words, "all your factory belong to us."

That was George W. Bush actually. Clinton allowed a few secrets to walk away and yes that was treason. But Bush removed all the export restrictions altogether. After Bush, the technology transfers were all legal. You could send those fucking chinks a fully assembled Patriot Missile in a fucking cardboard box and there was nothing anybody could do about it.

If what Clinton did was treason, there isn't even a word suitable to describe the magnitude of what Bush did.

maybe china and the U.S. have been secretly colluding now for years then, and their presidential meeting was just to ink in all the details. fukushima softened them up, now the island dispute has given them popular support, the people have their backs, the U.S. has their backs, and therefore so does Europe, nothing standing in the way of regional domination.

China are too strong for Japan, the Chinese men will gladly die for their country, it would bring honour to their family.

The outcome will not be good for anyone.This is a tinderbox with regional players that have the capacity to affect the entire world.Let's hope it does not progress to military action and if it does let us hope it is neutralized quickly.

There might be something to that. Chairman Mao did attend Yale University in China in the 20's. Which would explain why he got along so well with GHW Bush when Poppy was stationed as unofficial Ambassador in China in the early 70's before he became CIA director. The Bushes have always been friendly to China.

I agree - those Islands originally belong to China. And the nips "bought" them for a penny.

They even have 0kinawa which is thousands of miles away - so be contented.

They should spend more time at home looing after the irradiated and the radiation contamination.
