Secretary for Food and Health: I would like to mention here that yesterday a patient was admitted into a public hospital with fever and symptoms of upper respiratory infection. The patient also has a history of travel to the Middle East. Therefore, our frontline staff's alertness was heightened.

The case was reported to the Centre for Health Protection this morning. At the same time, the hospital staff have obtained specimen from the patient to conduct a rapid test. Up to this stage, the report showed that the specimen tested positive for influenza B, but negative for Novel Coronavirus.

We are still observing the patient. If necessary, we will repeat the test. However, up to this moment, the patient's specimen tested negative for Novel Coronavirus.

Mmmm, it wasnt that long ago that there was a patient that tested positive for H1N1 and the medicos thought that they had the case nailed, only to learn later that the same poor individual was also con- currently suffering for a parallel case of novel Coronavirus as well, but wasnt detected until it was too late because it was ASSUMED that the problem had been fully diagnosed.

This just proves the caution that everyone needs to be exhibiting these days.

And so we eventually arrive back at the same place we were at some time ago.

Why has the WHO decided to only report influenzas and probably coronaviruses on a monthly basis, when they previously reported on a dail basis?

Clearly monthly reporting adds a massive and highly significant retarded flow of extremely important information that is totally essential in order to manage the emergance of a new disease, so why move from a responsive position to a retarded situation?

There really is only one logical answer to that question and is a very unsavory concept to ponder, so how about it, WHO, please explain why you would retard the dissemination of highly important information that would hugely assist in limiting the spread of a fresh worldwide pandemic.

Why would you make this incredibly dangerous and community threatening choice.

What do you have to say regarding these illogical and reprehensible deviations for your core responsibilities to the wellbeing of the worlds population.

I am certain that each and every reader here is keenly awaiting your reasonable reply, so please let us all hear it.

And, just for good measure...

You are now on ntice.

I will persist with this line of questioning and agitating until a reasonable answer is forthcoming because I do not believe that you are acting according to your primary responsibilities, and I will call you to account for your actions as they are nothing less than dangerous and damaging.

So speak up.
