What do dreams mean?

Yes, they are real, in the way that they display what's really on your mind besides your conscious cognition. They make you call attention for what's going on in your subconscious mind, what's oppressed by your consciousness while your awake; fears, desires, wishes.

But what if they can never come to life in real life? How do I rid myself of these dreams that won't go away. I need to get some sleep.
