wtf, styx? styx sucks!
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25042174 yes, it does !
Even if those other names make more sense regarding all the other moons/planets names based on ancient mythology;
but it would be fun to have at least one little moon namend after something what refers to nowadays tales, even if no one will understand it´s origin in about 100yrs.
fyi about the meaning of those other names:
The ancient grecian god of underworld Pluto is equivalent with the ancient romanian god of underworld Hades;
In ancient grecian mythology, Hades is the name of the underworlds god as well as the underworld itself; you have to cross river Styx to get there, and Cerberus is the dog that secures the entrance of hades.
Persephone is a goddess of the underworld as well, daughter of Zeus and was once kidnapped by Hades and brought there.
As no one get´s back to the upper world, she had to stay there and rules with Hades.
As the mythology goes, Orpheus´ wife Eurydike died due to a snake bite, and as he missed her so much, he went all the way down to Hades to persuade him to get his beloved wife back; Hades and Persephone allowed him to take here but under one condition; well,he messed up.
