its up to the individual to determine if its legit or not...

and plus its not that hard to imagine people seeing fireballs...

they can be seen at any moment, at any time during the year...

i dont see this as anything unusual... now if we get another Russian event going on... i'll raise an brow...

but i've seen fireballs at different times...

i suppose more are going to be seen and reported... cos more people in general are deciding to look up after the recent asteroid excitements.

the San Fran one could have traveled 1000 or more miles and could be the seen by multiple people in multiple states.

its happened before.

AMS received 9 reports about this fireball seen over AL, GA and MS on February 15th 2013 (UTC).
