Respectfully, there are areas of truth with both of your comments (the two comments are not entirely mutually exclusive of each other).

To bring closer together, the (perfection of each toward the other)...one needs to take each piece (of each comment)one-at-a-time, (phrase within each sentence), and show correct commonality with the Bible (while rejecting the parts that are off the mark).

But for time's sake...here's some of the key ones:

Indeed the definitions in the Hebrew and Greek are not the same (when "matched up" with the English translation)...which accounts for much of the answer to the question (of this thread)...as outlined by the first AC statement).

For the second AC - you too are correct in saying that it's right in trembling before Him (even the righteous...a true holy fear).

It's important to remember, however, to also (when it's applicable) allow the Bible to define its own words (when they are the same). For example, as you state, "fear is the beginning of wisdom!"...true, however, it's only "the fear of God" (that's the beginning of wisdom...and indeed, the One and Only, True God).

As another example of the Bible defining its own words here: "the fear of God" (per the Bible defined, by the Holy Spirit, in the Psalms)...is to "eschew evil". This means, (to strongly/habitually avoid evil). By so doing, you are fearing God, and indeed, now have a starting point for grasping wisdom.

Praise God - forever and ever He's to be praised

'fear of the LORD', it actually just paying due reverence to Almighty God. If you reverence God, what else have you to fear? He is victorious over death itself! I thought you were going to ask something absurd like, can God create a rock so heavy that He can't lift or something.

Therefore the two passages are not contradictory.
