A member on another thread did some digging and found the original source of that video and it WAS NOT CUBA.. I'm not saying there was no meteor exploding over Cuba, just saying that video is NOT CUBA, nor was it recently taken.

The most logical explanation is that DA14 was one of many asteroids moving together in a group, that either astronomers were unaware of, or deliberately failed to tell us about.

It really isn't important news unless people were hurt or property was damaged. Meteors and fireballs are seen all the time. We're just more aware of it now because of what happened in Russia.
