Also found this on the NASA site.

New information provided by a worldwide network of sensors has allowed scientists to refine their estimates for the size of the object that entered that atmosphere and disintegrated in the skies over Chelyabinsk, Russia, at 7:20:26 p.m. PST, or 10:20:26 p.m. EST on Feb. 14 (3:20:26 UTC on Feb. 15).

The estimated size of the object, prior to entering Earth's atmosphere, has been revised upward from 49 feet (15 meters) to 55 feet (17 meters), and its estimated mass has increased from 7,000 to 10,000 tons. Also, the estimate for energy released during the event has increased by 30 kilotons to nearly 500 kilotons of energy released.

That was a big meteorite, much bigger than they first told.

I have a look at Stelarium and try to find out, where and when satelites or Spacestation pass over that Tamworth meteorite observatory. First I have to find out what sky area Tamworth covers and then i can put in the coordinates. Then I can check if those anomalies correspond with a passover of such objects. This could take some time, so plaese be patient. As soon if I find something I will post it here.

I couldn't find any information yet about what sky area this Tamworth covers. So I probably just put some coordinates in for Tamworth Uk in Stellarium and scan the sky in the direction of that Radar transmitter in Dijon, France. This combining with the timestamp on those graphs wich had those anomalies.

That was easy, Tamworth was already in one of the coordinate presets in stellarium. Will check this out now.

French Say 'Non' to U.S. Disclosure of Secret Satellites

BROYE-LES-PESMES, France - A French space-surveillance radar has detected 20-30 satellites in
low Earth orbit that do not figure in the U.S. Defense Department's published catalogue, a discovery
that French officials say they will use to pressure U.S. authorities to stop publishing the whereabouts
of French reconnaissance and military communications satellites.
After 16 months of operations of their Graves radar system, which can locate satellites in orbits up to
1,000 kilometers in altitude and even higher in certain cases, the French Defense Ministry says it has
gathered just about enough information to negotiate an agreement with the United States.

I'm still trying to find some info of that detection window provided by Graves radar in connection with Tamworth.
I'm almost sure that I can rule out the ISS, because at that time yesterday at 10:10 it was far below the horizon and not detectable by Graves.

From the meteor detection page.

Meteor Detection

When a meteor strikes Earth’s atmosphere it decelerates rapidly. The friction created by the air causes the meteor to burn up at extremely high temperatures creating the white “shooting star” that we are all familiar with. This process also ionises the air along the trail making it possible to reflect radio waves.

Utilising a high powered VHF radar signal sent into the sky, we are able to detect reflected waves from these ionisation trails. Because the meteor is moving, the reflected signal is shifted in frequency from the original, by an amount according to it’s speed. This shift is also heard as an audible ping by the station operator.

Our system translates the reflected wave into three main parameters - Amplitude (strength), Frequency shift (Doppler shift) and decay time. This allows us to determine the relative size of the meteor strike (vertical scale) and the relative approximate speed and deceleration (amount of shift and width of the trace).

You can see the output from our system above in real time (approximately 1 minute delay on the Internet). During a meteor shower this trace will be full of strike traces, but it is also surprising how many meteors are striking Earth’s atmosphere all of the time.

Here are two more sites i found for those who want to learn or follow radio astronomy--

this one is from the SPAM site ("Solar Planetary And Meteor" detection)

and this from Japan's National Institute of Information and Communication Technology:

Here is a picture of the detection window of Graves seen from Devon,Uk.

[link to i1274.photobucket.com]

As you can see that window is not very wide. I will translate this now to the Tamworth location. Then I have to check the minimal and maximum elevation it can detect.
Normal airtraffic in that area in France is below the horizon seen from the Uk, so those are not detected.

A Dutch predictor wrote for the year 2013:

Large meteorite impacts worldwide, the size of the meteorite causes a lot of turmoil. Eclipse by ash rain. Earth Shocks in areas where they have not previously occurred.

Hmmm, it makes you think.
