Odilo Pedro Scherer "Pedro" is the Portuguese form of "Peter" Peter the Roman.  Indeed. And he was born in Cerro Largo, Rio Grande do Sul, which is near Santa Maria - where the Brazilian Nightclub fire took place earlier this year.  Cerro Largo is about 188 kilometers (117 miles) from Santa Maria... Since the nightclub fire in Santa Maria was clearly a ritual sacrifice, this is odd...
