Similar Quakes

The thread is not BS, I have provided information as it was and at this moment is listed on the Global Incident Map. Although I watch the quake maps I am not terribly knowledgeable about how one quake might be related to another. I asked for input from those who are. I have made no extraordinary predictions or pretend that these few quakes are some how the harbinger of Armageddon. I don’t see how you can rightfully call a simply relay of information as BS.

As you are somewhat ignorant when it comes to quakes then, perhaps you should do some research on them, it is basic knowledge that the first reports to pop up are computer generated. While you are at it read up on tectonics, you may answer your own question.

Thank you, I now know that there is a delay between the computer generated report and a verified one. I understand that there may be variations between the two. I’m glad to of had the chance to learn something today. As for tectonic plates I have read a bit and seen some programs on the subject. I am only beginning my education in this area and appreciate the people here who have kindly answered my sometimes uninformed questions.

Every other day for a 6 mag IS NOT NORMAL. Don't let anybody say otherwise. Its bolony.

Tinnitus, Vertigo, ear Infection, pressure.

Some believe it is a precursor for an EQ, if you want to take seismology serious you will take no notice of the so called precursor.

It is totally normal, every 2-3 days on average.

Exactly. This gets so old. It's been explained in EVERY quake thread. Anyone continuing this should be perma-banned from GLP. Or if you can't perma ban the tards then at least remove the bs threads they start. And for fucks sake, don't pin them!

They aren't two different locations tard. It is two different sensors reporting slightly different measurements of the same quake.

Learn how the quake maps get their data and how quakes are reported before running off the hook posting tard threads then. You ARE getting input from those are knowledgeable about the quake maps and you are not listening. It was the SAME quake

Please take a look at the original sources. These are 2 seperate earthquakes in seperate locations. One was reported by both the usgs and the csem-emsc the other only by the csem-emsc.

Learn how to use the maps. Learn how they are reported. Once again, these are not two separate quakes.

I think that we are just suffering a disconnect in information. So let me be clear as to the point you are trying to making.
You are saying that the East Of The Izu Islands quake near Japan and the Kermadec Islands quake near New Zealand are the same quake?

They ARE two different quakes - one in Japan area, another in New Zealand/Kermadec Island area. I think what is getting confused is that there are several listings for the Kermadec Island one - making it look like there were several quakes instead of one. And most don't know offhand where Izu islands are so thought it was part of the ones listed for Kermadec islands area.
It DOES get annoying when there are different reports from different sensors -for the same quake- and people start freaking out "oh there were 3 mag 6 quakes!".
But the ones you are referring to are in two different geographic areas.

Really? Details please. I dreamed of same thing a couple weeks ago in India or Indonesia near a place called Bang__, it caused a long ass trench abyss.

Good Job! Maybe if we keep this up we'll stumble across some sort of pattern.

It really depends on what velocity model they are using. Different models will produce different solutions.
