Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33211441 And seeing some woman with gold chains, rings on every finger, a leather jacket, make-up, finger-nails, new purse, buying steaks and paying with an EBT card? That made my day just so much better, to know my tax dollars were there to provide these services for this person. Well, remember they only get a set amount of money.. so every night they can not have a steak dinner, but maybe once a month or spend all their money on that and the rest of the month go hungry. Why won't people give people a break.. seriously? How is it benefiting you getting pissed off on something you can not change? Just get over it. It is called life and Life was never written to be fair. But, why get pissed off over it? She is not pissed off over it.. you are only hurting yourself by getting angry and pissed off. We can change it. Drug tests and depo shots for those living off the government. You should not be able to give yourself a raise by popping out another kid. And yes, I feel REALLY BAD for her kids. How bout the parents so strung out on drugs, they dont take their kids out. Or maybe they let the kids tend the meth lab while one of the parents takes strangers into their bedroom to "service" How bout the parents that are busy raping or beating their kids? My father shoveled soybeans out of train cars and then worked security at night (for the same company). They didn't own a car. He often slept at work in the track switching office because he was simply too tired to WALK home. When I was 5 I had my first McDonalds hamburger. This was to celebrate my mother becoming a Registered Nurse. My mother then supported us (my father and I) until my father got his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Then my father went to work for a fortune 500 company, started as a draftsman and finished his career as a Vice President. He left that company at age 45 and started a business out of his garage. A business that one decade later employs over 100 people in ten states and is a multi million dollar company. So rags to riches.. sure.. But I promise you if they didn't have to work for it, they never would have amounted to shit. I on the other hand was lucky in that I was able to see both sides before leaving home for good. |

The poor have small pleasures compared to how the ultra rich live. Theres mansions of the ultra rich that have over ten bathrooms, some have upwards to 30. I read of a rich woman who jetted to paris to buy three hand bags for 90,000 thousand dollars and hopped aboard her plane to fly back to the states. Seriously, all the bitching over a pizza and some games, ... save our ranting for the rich who got rich over the sweat of others. |
