LIKE NEVER, unless you absolutely know who it is and also why they're there. Like even if you know who it is, if they've arrived unexpectedly you still can't be 100% sure that answering the door is safe. Also about the phone. JUST LEAVE YOUR RINGER OFF FULL TIME. Forget about it. It's not worth it anymore. 99% of the calls you get from strange numbers will be people trying to ruin your life. Basically I've come to a point where I don't want: an address, a phone number, an email, or anything that someone can easily reach me. Because 99% of the time it's someone who you don't want to talk to. Like don't trust anyone who you don't know. And I'm not a paranoid person at all. I'm just pointing out the reality of what's seemingly happened over the last serveral years, where it literally is no longer safe to answer your phone or door anymore. |

But gradually over time what's happened is that basically 99% of the random calls you get, or annomous knocks at the door are people trying essecially to harm you. Either telemarketers trying to scam you, door to door sales and donation people, g=v agents, cops, and on and on. Quoting: Rtruth Eventually what I realized is you should never answer the door.
