Swiss Farmers Have lots of Power because they HANGED THE BANKSTERS
While visiting friends in Switzerland, I was told this tidbit of Swiss history:

Swiss farmers still have TONS of power in Switzerland. Because at one time back in history they hanged all the Banksters.

Not surprisingly, I have found it hard to find an article confirming this in English (I don't speak German/Swiss-German).
