that would be great SO, my sil is in the same situation and she takes off on long weekends an extra day and flies out to get 4 days every three months and if its not a holiday she just takes two days.
Sometimes she flies daughter and baby here instead, then they stay longer cause daughter doesn't have to work
Quoting: flavapor I'm thinking if we can see each other 3 times a year we are doing good. Still looking into purchasing a small home there - hotels are so expensive and I hate having to eat at restaurants for meals. I figure if we buy the place now, it will be paid for by the time we can retire. Then we can bounce back and forth for visits.
