Its been such a long time, don't know who is still following the page but I am giving an update on my life

My daughter got married on July 4th and it was a beautiful wedding. Great venue, great food, exactly what we planned and expected, maybe even better, and we were all very happy about that.

They went on the honeymoon and I watched the baby for a week which I am not used to 24/7 but I managed just fine. She is such a good baby.

I watch her during the week when they are at work and we have a routine, she doesn't give me much trouble and is always smiling and I wouldn't change a thing. She just turned 8 mo old last week and I see baby gates and cabinet locks in my future real soon. She crawls as fast as I walk and is standing and holding on to things and getting around that way. One a good note, Lucy the dog has lost weight running from the baby. LOL

The rest of the family is doing well, my second daughter finally put her degree to use and got a job at a bank and loves it. Hubby and son work together and its funny to watch them interact since they are together so much, they argue like a married couple sometimes.

My oldest daughter also just bought a house and they close on it the end of Aug maybe sooner, it is getting a roof replacement, once complete they will close on it. It is very close, only about 4 miles away and it is beautiful, I wouldn't mind living there myself.

On another note, my grandmother, who is 96 had a gall bladder attack the day before the wedding and couldn't attend, she ended up getting it out and another surgery from the esophagus to remove stones in the bile duct. Two surgeries in 2 weeks and she bounced back better than most people 50 yrs younger than her would have. We were worried sick about her undergoing anesthesia twice in such a short period. They wanted to only wait 2 days between surgeries but we insisted it be longer. It has relieved the horrible back pain she has had for yrs and the Drs said that all her thousands of stones were tiny ones but very numerous and he wouldn't be surprised if the back pain was from passing small ones constantly and the one that sent her to the ER was larger than the others she had. Live and learn, we all thought it was just her age and arthritis, so did her doctors but it has been gone since the surgeries and hasn't returned and she isn't on any medication other than her normal BP meds and even that has been reduced in half and is holding her pressure steady.

So what is going on with everyone elses life???
