They are inclined to leave alone any prey that they can't surprise and drag underwater. Cats are not typically their prey. While I would never recommend testing this, because there are deadly exceptions, a human can in most cases walk up to a Crocodile and play around with it, just as long as it doesn't stick a hand right in it's mouth and dare it to bite or something. It won't attack unless it feels it's threatened and can't get away, or is protecting young. |
