I have always wondered though why is there racism in conspiracy culture? Quoting: Commodore For most people, it's not about race really... it's about ideology. My own freakin sister is a libtard. Althoug, she is a 22 yr old college student who attends the The U of California. So I cut her slack. I think after a few yrs in the real world, and paying taxes, she will come around. |

When a republican gets elected again, you won't hear very much about FEMA death camps anymore. They just fuel that speculation because to them it's super super scary that a black guy who thinks differently than them has access to the infrastructure FEMA has. The intelligent conservatives don't need conspiracy theories to voice their objections to the President; however, conspiracies grab the people who may be less intelligent or more psychologically prone to anxiety, paranoia, and fear. I think many of the white "racist" conspiracy theorists here really loved Bush and many of them probably voted for him, but would now deny having done so. I even have some white family members who were very excited about Bush back in 2000 and 2004, but now won't even admit they voted for anyone at all in 2000 and 2004. If the right wing conspiracy promoters out there have to use racism, fear, and malicious stories of tyranny and new world order takeovers to get Obama out of power, they will do it. Because it goes without saying they can't get a republican elected on that person's own merits. |

Quoting: *Rick Grimes* Ain't that the fuckin' truth. Send a Vietnamese in an inner-tube on 6,000 mile boat ride to America with nothing but a sunburn, and the little bastard will learn English and own a string of dry cleaners in 5 years. I feel that in Asian cultures they are ingrained with a certain spiritual aspect that is absent here. every American should learn martial arts. we would stop being such scared gutless punks then. Asians tend to be WAY ahead of the curve on that aspect. At least they know how to defend what they believe in... Some members and ACs here and elsewhere are paid to promote FAR right ideology and ridicule anything else. Some of these posters actually become very popular and develop a good reputation with the forum. The agencies and organizations that employ these people gauge their performance based on how many "foes" can be turned into "friendlies". Some well-known provacateurs that you might know or remember: Prof Xavier Brief Walkers Everywhere Surefire way to tell-- the poster is here EVERY day ALL day and always using the same themes and rhetoric. Example: Brief - pro Israel, anti Muslim, pro war, pro violence, pro law enforcement Professor Xavier: Anti minimum wage, anti union, pro corporatism Agreed. The FEMA thing came from a certain guy in Texas that loves Ron Paul while Bush was still in office. It does happen on both sides. That's good enough for me. This is why you can't trust Science. This old theory is falling by the wayside, begrudgingly but certainly. No it's not. Evidence supporting the Out of Africa model The oldest known fossils of Homo sapiens are African fossil evidence indicates that modern humans quickly replaced earlier humans in Europe and western Asia. All living people show little genetic diversity. This is interpreted as being the result of a relatively recent replacement of earlier, more diverse populations. A variety of different DNA studies on modern humans all suggest a recent common ancestry from a small gene pool. Most of these point to Africa as the origin of this population. DNA from contemporary humans can be used to produce maps of human movement throughout the world and show how long an indigenous population has lived in an area. These indicate modern human origins in Africa. Analysis of the Neanderthal genome and comparisons with modern humans does support the view that the vast majority of genes of non-Africans came with the spread of modern humans that originated in Africa and then spread throughout the world.
