Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 26244997 United States 02/25/2013 03:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and you do not know the way, believe in the truth, and live the life; Do you believe in jesus or a false christ? How many are lost and do not know the way or think they do and are wrong? How many do not know the truth but believe in a lie? Whether or not they are aware of it? How many are not living the life example jesus provided? Like father, like son. We are to imitate the son as we are transformed into his perfect image. We are a people, a kingdom. Those in the family is he who makes holy and those who are holy. ALL SINNERS ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL FOR HE IS THEIR FATHER. If you do not believe me look it up. Without holiness no will shall see the lord. You must walk in the light as he is in the light. Do not turn to the right or left, keep your foot from evil. I could be wrong. This is what I believe is a flawed theory. I have much to learn. Try to take everything I say to the bible and do your own research. I believethere are a few major steps to make in order to inherit eternal life. Lets call it a process of evolution. A process that transforms us into celestial beings equal to angels.(Luke 20:36;1 Corinthians 15:50-54) Just remember it is a gift among many gifts. There is literally nothing we can do to “earn” this gift of salvation.(Ephesians 2:8) Becareful not to be filled with arrogance,we do not “deserve” this gift either. We are simply unworthy servants doing our duty in which we are obligatedto do.(Luke17:7-10)Who can give anything to god?(Romans 11:30-36) He is the creator of everything and the more you take from this world the more greedy you become.(Colossians1:16)Okay, a gift called grace. I shall explain. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of god. (Romans 3:23-26) We are criminals who have yet to be punished for our crimes. Imagine that you go to court for a crime that inherits the death penalty. Instead of sending you to die, the judge sends his innocent son in your place. As a result the two of you are joined together in a contract, a covenant. You must stop breaking the law and accept his son as your lord. The lord of our lord is our father. You must know the way, believe in the truth, and live the life that he chooses for you. Let’s say you are going to rehab. In doing so, you shall be justified of all charges and set free. If not, you die. Okay, what do you do to sign the contract and fulfil your promise? 1 Peter 2:4-9 - As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For it standsin Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believesin him will not beput to shame.” So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do Imagine that you must pick up a cross and carry it along a path towards the death of your flesh. To be raised from the dead you must be “crucified” first.(John 5:25-29; Hosea 6:2) Everyone must be punished for their sins.(2 Timothy 3:12-13, Ecclesiastes 8:11) Well, the path starts off very very wide but begins to become more and more narrow as you climb.(Matthew 7:13-14; John 10:9) Along the way you shall come across some rocks and thorns. Many obstacles cause people to stumble and fall down the mountain. (See: 1 Peter 2:1-25, Luke 8:4-15) Some leave their cross behind never to return to it. They decide to pick something else up. Perhaps something less painful? Maybe someone pays them not to carry it?(Luke 16:9) Well beyond all this is the promise land wherethefather dwells.(John 14:2) Do you know the story of moses? How many failed? So, how do you start this race? Acceptjesusaslord and enter into the baptism of repentance.(acts 2:38) Its like signing a contract with the most high god.(2 Chronicles 15:12; Hebrews 8:7-13, 9:15,1:1-14;Luke 22:20; 2 Corinthians 3:6;John 3:16, 3:36;Matthew 5:17-19) ) I believethisis where you are crucified. (Romans 6:4) Once you are “dead in your sins,” the purification process begins and it is going to be very painful.(2 Corinthians 5:17) Everyone must be salted by fire.(Mark 9:49; Malachi 3:2; 1 cor 3:13-16; 1 peter 1:7, 4:12,17; Isaiah 33:14) Once you “die” in baptism,I believeit’slikewe “enter the center of the earth with jesus.” Into the coffin you go. Proverbs 11:31 - If the righteous receive their due on earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner! Once in the coffin all those bugs will start to come in. As your flesh starts to decay right to your very bones you are going to feel it all.(Galatians2:20) We must suffer a lotto enter the kingdom of heaven.(Acts 14:22) You stillgotta carry that cross all the way to the father.(John 14:28) We can be saved from hell but did you think we would escape punishment?(Ecclesiastes 12:14, 3:17) Jesus is the way, truth, and life. An example we follow.(1John 2:6, Ephesians 5:1-2) For us, its more like discipline. (Proverbs 13:24,23:13-15; Hebrews 12:5-11; )Like hell on earth. For others, hell is a forever thing. Either we are salted by fire in lifeor when jesuscomes. Notsosure.People seem to believemany things. I believewe are salted by fire now. Why are we called to suffer now while they inherit the lake of fire later? Okay, I shall try to explain some other theories. 1 Corinthians 3:17 - If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. I believethere is a seed of the son and a seed of father that dwells inside the temple. The father and son are ONE but how do you go THROUGH jesusto reach thefather? (Ephesians 4:4-6; John 14:6) Not everyone shall reach the father. (Hebrews 12:14) Not everyone who knows jesus exist will besaved. ( 1 Peter 4:18; Matthew 7:21-27) Those who know the way, believe in the truth, and livethelifemightfinishthe race. (John 6:25-59, 17:6-19; 1 Peter 1:13-16) We can be like jesus but not like the father. We can be like our teacher but not greater. (Luke 6:40; Romans 8:3-4; Ephesians 4:20-24) The father is indeed greater than jesus. (John 14:28) Jesus is the son of god. Father is the most high god. They are one, different titles and ranks. I don’t know if we should call jesus“god.” It issafeto sayson of god but you must believethat he is HIM. (John 8:24-28; John 20:28)They are the lord of the heavens, earth, and sea.(Revelation 14:7)The father, and the son; there seems to be more than one spirit but it is one spirit. (Romans 8:10-11) I believethe spirit of jesusis given atthe baptism of water where you recieve a gift,a seed. (Acts 2:38; 1 Peter 4:10) I believethespiritof the father(full spirit of jesus)inside you makes you a child of god once the “full” baptism is complete. (Galatians4:6)Why doesthe bible say “firstfruits” of the spirit? Maybe there is more? Yet I believe only a few finishtheentire baptism and receive the fathers seed. (Romans 8:14-15; Acts 5:32) There seems to be more than one baptism but it is one process. (Ephesians 4:4-6) Like the “firstfruits” of the spirit perhaps there is more to this baptism than just being dunked into water. A baptism of waterforrepentance and baptism of the holy spirit and fire. (Luke 3:16; 1 Corinthians 3:10-16) Once you accept jesus as lord and enter into the baptism of repentance I believeyou entered the new covenant. It is our duty to take this seed we received up the mountain. (Mark 4:3-20; Matthew 25:14-30) However, many are not willing. (Matthew 25:14-30) I believe our sinful nature and the father are like oil and water. (Matthew 9:16-17) Jesus comes in to prepare the temple for his father.(1 Peter 2:4-9) The wicked do not inherit eternal life so how could they be sealed or adopted?( 1 John 3:10) Once you reach the father I believe you are adopted. (Galatians 4:1-7; Ephesians 1:3-14; Romans 8:22-27) Once your obedience is complete I believe you are marked. (2 Corinthians 10:1-6; Ephesians 4:20-24) Once the fathers seed comes to dwell inside of you making you a child of god I do not believe you can sin anymore. (1 john 3:7-10; Hebrews 6:1-8) However, most people cannot get their seed past the path, rocks, and thorns. The path is very very narrow. Only few shall make it. Once the temple is “sealed” shut I do not believe anything can enter it or leave it. Perhaps the beast kingdom seals a demon inside you? Could the beast mark be the process of selling your soul to the dark lord and serving it? Could it seal a demon within? Look at the lyrics to the song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ By Queen. Revelations7 - do we recievethe fathers seal during our life on earth or when we die? As in our bodies decaying? When and how? John 5:25-29 - Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.ForastheFather has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have lifein himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hearhisvoiceand come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 26244997 United States 02/25/2013 03:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Set a trap. Get a box and put a poisoned apple in it. As the racoon trys to get the apple it cannot get it out of the box for the hole is too small. Aware of the rock about to smash its head, the racoon can’t seem to let go of the apple. As a loved one, I should keep you away from that apple. There is a worldly love and a godly love. A godly love would watch out for your soul. A wordly love would want to grant your every desire and give you that apple as you die. A dog would love to have some chocolate. A true love would not ask for the chocolate or provide it. As a shepherd watching over the flock we must deny the sheep of certain things. As a sheep we do not grieve the shepherd. What is love? It would not cause another to stumble. As for the sinner: Ecclesiastes 2:26 - To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. 2 Corinthians 9:5-15 - So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to visit you in advance and finishthearrangements for the generous gift you had promised. Then it will be ready as a generous gift, not as one grudgingly given. Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” Now he who suppliesseed to thesower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlargetheharvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the serviceby which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompaniesyour confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! Who is your god? Do you know my god? My god is of love not hate. My god believeswe should givemore than we take.Heisnot a god that promotes wealth or greed. The profits you make are to help those in need. The love of my god is not in your possessions. Maybe its time to give up your confessions. A bloody price was paid. Such things shall never fade. Are we in the endtimes? Look at the fruit! Testthe spirits! 2 Corinthians 6:1 - As God’s co-workers we urge younotto receive God’s grace in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:2 - By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. Many claim to love god and are mere liars. To love god is to obey him. To disobey is to hate him. How could you love one you have not seen if you cannot love your neighbor who you have seen? All sinners are children of the devil. They do not know god nor love him. Whenyour loveisperfected I believe jesus will show himself to you. Many love the way you make them feel or what you have to offer but many do not love you. Perhaps they love a flase image of you because they do not know you? John 6:26 - Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. “And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believein me to sin,it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstonetiedaround hisneck. - Mark 9:42 “And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consistin the abundance of the things he possesses.” —Luke 12:15 Not only must you sell everything you do not need, you must obey. The more possessions you have, the more greedy you become. - Luke 18:18-24; Matthew 19:16-30; Mark 10:17-30; Acts 3:6; Luke 11:39-42; 1 Corinthians 13:3; Acts 2:42-47; Matthew 6:19-34; Mark 8:34-38; Luke 3:11; Acts 28:30 - Paul rented; 1 Timothy 6:3-10; Luke 14:33; Luke 6:25 - fast and give food to the poor; Hebrews 6:7-8; Luke 12:15-21 - doomsday preppers; Acts19:18-19 - Unfit gifts are thrown away/destroyed; Ecclesiastes 6:9 - are you content? ; Jeremiah 8:10; Isaiah 55:1-3; Revelation 22:15; Revelation 21:7-8; 2 Corinthians 8:9 - lead by example; James 1:10; Luke 16:10-12; Romans 2:6-8; 1 Corinthians 13:3; Hebrews 13:5-6 - I shall not want - be.content; Hebrews 13:5; 1 Timothy 6:6; 1 Samuel 2:8; 1 Timothy 6:10; Psalm 119:37; Luke 23:31; Philippians3:8; Psalms 86:1 - the words of a king? - 1 Samuel 18:23 ; Ecclesiastes 5:10; Habakkuk 2:5; 2 Peter 2:18; Matthew 6:21; Romans 14:13; Colossians 3:8-10; 1 Corinthians 8:9 - do you cause others to sin? Perhaps you help them to covetthetreasures you were told not to collect? Perhaps as you adorn yourself in beauty they lust after you? ; Matthew 16:23; James 4:4; Luke 6:20; 1 Timothy 6:8; Philippians4:11-13; james2:5; Galatians1:10; Notice how the man of wealth was not allowed to follow. Expeled from the church of our lord jesus until he repents of idolatry. There is an invisible church many think they are in, they are not, for they must go through the gate. Do you have a beautiful building that can be lusted after? A beautiful church shelter? A building built in greed? If someone could.would.they.steal from you? 1 John 2:16 - For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comesnot from the Father but from the world. “Jesus said to his disciples: “Thingsthatcause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.” —Luke 17:1 Philippians2:2-4 - Donothing out of vain conceit or selfish ambition. - Matthew 23:17; Mark 13:1-2; Luke 21:1-6; 1 Corinthians 3:11-17; Proverbs 31:30; 2 Peter 2:1-3; Acts4:32-35; Galatians5:26; Mark 10:19-21; 1 John 3:17; Psalm 10:4; Luke 12:33; , What about possessions that cause one to lust with their eyes or flesh? Are you "Well-dressed? Do you adorn yourself in beauty? Are you as pretty as a flower Matthew 13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. 1 Corinthians 4:10-13 - We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. We have become the scum of the earth, the garbage of the world—right up to this moment. Kingsand prophets lead by example. How should you dress? - Luke 7:24-26; Luke 12:27 ; matthew 6:28-28- why are you worried about.what your clothes look like? How many take hours to buy clothes or get ready?; Hebrews 13:5-6 - how many girlstalkabout buying shoes?; 2 Corinthians 6:3-10 - We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we liveon; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. 1 Peter 4:3 For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. Colossians 3:5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 26244997 United States 02/25/2013 03:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | LIVE BY THE SWORD DIE BY HIS SWORD. THOU SHALL NOT KILL. Do not turn to the right or left. Pick up your cross. You cannot kill another no matter the excuses to make. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 - For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete. 1 Corinthians 3:17 - If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. Live by the sword, Die by the sword. Love is the fulfillment of the law. You must pick up your cross. How can you pick up your cross and a sword? The cross is too big! Remember the parable! The path, rocks, and thorns! You may fall away due to persecution by picking up a sword. However, I believe many are on the path, rocks, and thorns. The heart pours out of the mouth. Let the one who is without sin cast the first stone! Who are you to condemn your neighbor to death! Thou shall not kill! Jesus told us to not judge by appearances but with righteous judgement! That includes the written word! If you are a sheep you will listen to your master. Let me get him for you! “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.” — John 15:13-17 “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” — Matthew 16:25 Its so hard for me to explain some things. I shall try to show you what I see. My eyes are different than your eyes. You need to know jesus; to understand him. Jesus is a teacher correct? As a teacher what were his methods? Did you notice what happened when the disciples forgot bread? “Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod.” That seems somewhat random right? He saw an opportunity and he used it. He would jump from topic to topic yet you judge me for doing so. Remember when the pharisee judged them for not washing before the meal? He talks about a cup as if it were the human body. Greed and idolatry. I don’t know if I am proving my point or not. I hope you can see how he teaches. At one moment he is withering a tree and the next there is something about chopping down trees that do not bear good fruit. Bad teachers are cut down. Do you understand? I guess parables one can see? Lets say my mother took me outside to see the world. Lets say we stopped next to a ant hill. She says a few things then we go home. Maybe a few days later she might bring up team work. Do you understand? Lets say that my mother gave me a huge bag of candy. Before doing so she has taught me various things. She knows a little child might just eat it all yet she hands it to me anyways. As I get to a certain level of greed she might say, “What did I tell you?” Its like learning from my mistakes. Remember when simon said he would die with jesus or whatever. He lied and the bird did its thing. Simon was a liar. How many times did jesus ask simon if he loved him? Why? Even simon was hurt from this. Feed my sheep jesus said. Truth is that to love god is to obey him. Simon was somewhat disobedient. Do you understand? I thought it was amazing how jesus would not allow him to lie when it came to dying for him. Now this passage is debated by many. This is what I see...you can not condemn your neighbor. You cannot kill. If you are not willing to let a young man like myself teach you, I fear what may happen to such a heart. Jesus said no more of this. Stop sinning! “Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them.” — Romans 12:14 (NLT) Luke 23:31 For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry? 1 Corinthians 15:34 - Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame. John 5:14 - Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you. 1 Corinthians 10:21 - You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons. 1 Corinthians 15:2 - By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. Hebrew 9:27 - Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. “As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.” — 2 Corinthians 6:1 Matthew 20:21-23 - “What is it you want?” he asked. She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.” “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?” “We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.” Luke 22:42 - “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Luke 22:35-38 - Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” “Nothing,” they answered. He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.” The disciples said, “See, Lord, here are two swords.” “That’s enough!” he replied. Matthew 26:39 - Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 5:39 Esv - But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. John 18:10-12 - Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?” Then the detachment of soldiers with its commander and the Jewish officials arrested Jesus. They bound him. Luke 22:49-51 - When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him. Luke 22:40 - On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.” Luke 22:46 - “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.” Luke 22:49-51 - When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him. Romans 12:9-21 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Galatians 6:10 ESV - So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. 1 Thessalonians 5:15 ESV - See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. James 4:1-5 - What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? Romans 12:17 ESV - Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. Matthew 26:5 (Esv) - Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Revelation 19:15 - Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. “To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. We have become the scum of the earth, the garbage of the world —right up to this moment.” — 1 Corinthians 4:11-13 Luke 14:25-30 - Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple. And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’ Some may want to defend with a debate about theif. Well, Luke 6:30 (NKJV) - Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. You must pick up your cross or you are not worthy of god. Jesus died for his enemies! Love does not harm its neighbor! “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” — John 15:12 “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” — Philippians 1:21 Matthew 10:38-39 (NIV) - Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. “Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” — Romans 13:8-10 “The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” — John 10:17-18 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13 Galatians 5:15 - But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. Matthew 5:39 - But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. Ephesians 4:31 - Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Matthew 10:16 (KJV) - Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Sometime the person to die for is the one pulling the trigger of a gun. Hopefully you have been blessed by this message. The truth does not argue with the truth. Now you know. God bless. |

You are absolutely correct, there are many false messiahs and misinformation being spread around this site and elsewhere, and people with an already weak belief system and very little faith are being confused, manipulated, and misled to believe baseless and incorrect information. Thank you for being here for us to set the record straight and keep all Christians on the right path to our Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. I was wondering if you had heard of the recent rumors by some that Jesus never existed, based off of a book that was just published. I have responded to a thread that was posted here which touted the theory as correct, when I know it to be otherwise. Please take a look and let me know what you think: Thread: Jesus Christ, never existed, based on the life and travels of.... Becareful with the measure you use but the spiritual person judges all things. 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 - Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God Romans 16:17-20 - I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. 3 John 1:9-12 - I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not welcome us. So when I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, spreading malicious nonsense about us. Not satisfied with that, he even refuses to welcome other believers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church. Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. Demetrius is well spoken of by everyone—and even by the truth itself. We also speak well of him, and you know that our testimony is true. 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 - I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.” 2 John 1:7-11 - I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work. James 3:1-13 - Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. Titus 3:9-11 - But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned. Titus 1:10-16 - For there are many rebellious people, full of meaningless talk and deception, especially those of the circumcision group. They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach—and that for the sake of dishonest gain. One of Crete’s own prophets has said it: “Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.” This saying is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the merely human commands of those who reject the truth. To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good. Jude 1:4 - For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. 2 Peter 2:1-3 - But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. 2 Timothy 3:1-9 - But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone. 2 Timothy 2:16-19 - Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” 1 Peter 4:2-5 - As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you. But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. Galatians 5:7-12 - You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion is not from him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is. But if I, brothers, still preach circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed. I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves! 1 Timothy 1:3-7 - As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God’s work—which is by faith. The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Some have departed from these and have turned to meaningless talk. They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm. 2 Thessalonians 3:6-15 - Now we command you, brothers,in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you. It was not because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves an example to imitate. For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living. As for you, brothers,do not grow weary in doing good. If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed. Do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother. Ephesians 5:3-13 English Standard Version (ESV) 3 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. 5 For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not become partners with them; 8 for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), 10 and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. 13 But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, To be continued, if i decide to, if god permits, gotta find more to add. |
