Do you know what's in your tuna fish sandwish?

I cant eat regular tuna in a can, tastes terrible I buy chunk white Albacore, at lest the taste is good.

I just follow the rule of having tuna once a week. I actually have it more like once every two months or so.

Mercury, and/or Uranium depending on where it's caught. Fish have a stronger genetic make-up to soft humans...this is why we should be watching our Global Leader's diets very carefully...I say 24 hour surveillance on their eating habits would make us all healthier.

What exactly do they eat? Do you know?

heh heh, when the BP thing was happening, I quietly stocked up on tuna, wild salmon, ocean shrimp, halibit and orange ruffy - I didn't want to be tricked into eating sea-food from the GOM ... but when FUshima happened (shortly there after) I made one last swoop of seafood, before the contaminated stuff hit the markets - and haven't bought any since

It was also (I believe), well before they started putting "fillers" in the food to keep their costs competitive - I saved a whole bunch of money doing that too - prices of seafood (esp the "wild" variety) has easily trippled.


I have basically given up beef - haven't been able to properly digest it since they started genetically modifying it (decades ago) ... just lucky I guess. I try to eat it once a month but rarely do - I basically keep beef for "company" I feel the same about pork and chicken, that has been massed produced - the stuff they feed them is all GMOs, and they are "hybrid" themselves ... so I raise my own chickens and my own veggies indoors (free range is no longer "safe" with all the rads being dumped on the soil) I started covering my outdoor garden soil with those cheap survival blankets after FUshima - you guys can eat that stuff, if you want to, but I refuse to and I don't have to

Sure it's almost $2/ can but I'd rather pay that and get quality tuna then eat that other crap. I remember when I was a kid my Mom bought the cheap stuff and it always had black stuff in it, fish scales, and sometimes pieces of bone..

I don't think I've ever ordered tuna from a restaurant and I definetly don't eat pre-made tuna sandwiches, they usually have relish and I don't like relish.

And I'm pretty sure it's all real tuna. Smells like tuna, looks like tuna, tastes like tuna.. Lord I hope it's tuna.. LOL

I only buy tuna for the kitties, but not so much anymore.

Name brand tuna seems to be very stinky fishy smelling and tasting.

No more nice chunks in the can either.

Mostly some fishy smelling mush:(

Bones are good for ya, when I make salmon patties I don't remove the bones...nom nom nom

Much better if you just buy a nice tuna steak, seared on each side, not overcooked, shred with a fork, add mayo and seasonings. Best you can get. Expensive, but the best.

Funny that you say that because I totally eat the little vertebrate bones in salmon patties too, but those are supposed to be there! LOL
