I had never heard of an EMP Bomb. That explains a lot as far as having underground bunkers and stock piled ammo etc.. Are they trying to save us from ourselves by taking our guns away? Like that would work!

The book, "One Second After", (with foreword written by Newt Gingrich, no less!) is all about an EMP scenario. Read it as a thriller and you'll be haunted by it forever. At least I am.

Further, Michael Savage's new book, "A Time for War", is also about an EMP device. Portable (!!!) this time.

I for one have been warning people about this for 15 yrs or so - I have come to conclude that the American public by and large are simply too stupid, uneducated and complacent to grasp the threat.

And that your government is going to let this happen in the same way they allowed 911 to go through.

No idea really. No idea what kind of safety measures they have against things like this. But guessing nothing.

I'm sure they would be in the safety of their tunnels by then. We would all suffer, then die.

This is a big concern of mine. It has been so for a very, very long time now. I been begging to get out but felt anchored by those around me that would not pay attention. Love for others is burdensome at times.

Sad now that war is breaking out across the continent I am and have been compelled to transit to. By the time I get there, if I get to go, they too will dislike me due to my point of origin. Can I not just be human on this planet?

Uhh no this would be worst doom.

No he just thinks "oh how awesome electronic equipment fb, and twitter no more". He hasn't thought about all the flights down, all the wrecks that would happen simultaneously, all the people in the hospital that would die, all the people on various medication that would die, pretty well all cars since 80's-90's wouldn't be working anymore, no way to contact loved ones cause phones would be down and would be a pain in the ass to even get to them because more than likely they live miles away so to get to them would be a day trip if it's 20 miles. He hasn't thought about no running water so salmonella would run rampant quick do to lack of running water so everything would become extremely unsanitary. Hasn't thought about the fact that a small cut if not tended to VERY diligently could cost a finger, hand, limb, or death being that anti-biotics would be gone first day or so. Hasn't thought about what would happen with prisoners. Seriously people that get woodies for this doom have no fucking clue...Everything, communication, transportation is FUCKED your not with a friend or family member at the time it happens good luck ever seeing them again. I could go on, but it would be very fucking bad.

In cities it would be 90% death for sure.

Anybody in Las Vegas at the time would eventually die no natural water there it's all pumped in, so it would depend on how much reserves they have in how long it would last. If they had 6 month's worth then everybody would be dead in 6 months almost on the dot. Also yea 90% in cities, and almost uninhabitable in the span of a few short months even if that. The bacteria floating around there would be fucking horrific. Everybody would have to find a source of flowing water...hey quick question for anybody that might know. I know that you need to find a natural gravity spring in a situation like that no stagnant water ever, but if you built a fire could you boil water before drinking it? Would that kill the bacteria in it or would it just depend on what bacteria was in the water??

If someone, say N. Korea...or Iran, giving technology to N. Korea decided they wanted to go to war with us.
If they shot a missile....it would be shot down, they know we're watching them like a hawk.
But what if they DISGUISED a nuke as a 'weather satellite' that everyone in the world laughed at in it's silly little elongated wobbly orbit?
All they'd have to do is wait until it floated over the continental U.S and push a button.
