Duluth here again. You do realize that people are only 3 meals away from becoming animals don't you? Watchthe movie "The Road" and you'll get a candy coated version of what life will be like if you do en counter people. It will be no different than today really, people willfuck you, eat you, then take your sh!t. Hate to be a buzzkill but the majority of our humanity has already left the building.

I am here 6 months out of the year and Chicago the other 6, but traveling in between pretty regularly.

Im expecting a complete shut down of EVERYTHING. I think that we will see no traffic, no production, no services, nothing we will have to go back to the stone age. I think it will be so severe it will be like the movie Walking Dead without the zombies. It does not matter what starts it it will be real and there will be no one to help but people like us. I also think this will be soon, not soon as in I am predicting it will be tomorrow but soon and soon enough to at least have a state to state plan. Like I have said mine is to go North cause I can live and survive in a cold climate but that might change,,,

I hope so too, but I keep an eye on everything and if I sense anything about to crazy I head out there, even if if am wrong it is nice to get away and fish too. People are nice in this area, if you do come this way. Don't force yourself on anyone, don't come there and say I am in charge, that attitude is hated here. Everyone in the area has hundreds of arces of land and we are a tight knit community. No one in the area thinks anything crazy is coming though, we had that long drunken conversation around 12-21-2012

Central MN here as well, North of Cambridge. Planning to stay where I'm at, in the country, near the river, plenty of family, land, and good neighbors to build a village with:)

Lets get this straight,,, Stock piling stuff will not help you as to the fact you will be kicked out of your home where ever it may be. So putting tons of food and ammo into one place is stupid unless you live on a farm far from people, and that may not even help. What will is living off the land with no structure and no baggage. You will have to be a boy scout with survival skills, be able to live off what you have and move on. What does a prepper do if they come take all you have or say you have used it all up? DIE. If you know how to live like they did 500 years ago then you will make it, I would hope. Say they come and you run. Would you pack up the 200 pounds of food and what not you stock piled and run? Honestly I would have 10 pounds of food and a gun and I would make it.
