I was born and raised in Oregon. There are as many rednecks there than almost anywhere else in the USA. This will never happen!

Americans will not give up there guns and the evil ones know it . My 65 year old father went and bought a gun the other day and he hasn't owned one in over 25 years.

Wish them good luck. By the latest estimate, there are some 300,000,000 guns in America. I guarentee you the ATFE doesn't have accurate records on these 300 million guns!

Half are purchased via private sale; and as registration schemes ramp up, even more will be "private sale" - no paperwork!

In addition, there are some 15 Billion rounds of ammunition in free American hands.

How are they going to confiscate 300 million guns? They can't. NO WAY. Name me a government program that is 90% effective. Not one.

I live in Oregon and our state is controlled by 3 cities. Portland, Salem, and Eugene. Not sure why but it seems people who live in bigger cities tend to be this way. Most of the rest of the state wouldn't think twice about the sight of a gun and they certainly wouldn't allow an unwarranted search.

65 million have supposedly been purchased since Obama took office. (who knows how many more every single day).

I think 300 million is a low estimate and same for the bullets.

While the people who asked for the bill, “Ceasefire Oregon,” are encouraging people to “thank” Greenlick for introducing this travesty, Greenlick himself is saying the bill is “flawed” and “not in play.

They tried this in WAshington state a week or two ago, and the response was so powerful to this idiocy that they were in full retreat in a couple of days. The sponsors said it was a mistake, they didn't read the bill, they didn't know how that got in there .... finally they blamed it on some unknown employee. Lying snakes.
