Quoting: Machine42 When do you suspect we will know the voting date? I noticed you subtracted the "mourning" period 15-9 to get the earliest possible date at the 6th but would that mean the max would be 20-9 and the vote would be at the latest on the 11th? Thanks! I believe we will have a pope very soon... Benedict stacked the deck as it were... on who filled the conclave... I'm sure its already been decided... just not officially. I believe you are right. We'll see maybe two or three votes before the one that was decided upon gets elected. This way it will look like it wasn't set up from the beginning. |

When a pope dies... there isnt a set time of death... sure there is an expected time frame of death... if the pope has been terminally ill... "May be a few days, may be a week?" But in this situation... the word knew that the Pope would no longer be in power today... My opinion this knowledge makes it all too easy for the College of Cardinals to plan the next pope well ahead of time... _______________________ |

That is what I was wondering. The prophecy speaks of the pope fleeing & we just assume it is due to hostilities. Perhaps the cause to flee is old age & stress?? If there is one thing we all know, it is that prophecy tends to unfold in the most unexpected of manners. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20756371 That's a disgrace. Easter is about Christ, not the Pope. Just sayn' Christianity is about Christ, The studying and striving be as like Him as we possibly may. The whole idea of setting a person upon such a high pedestal with the accompanying ceremonies and "worship" status, while granting world-wide following of each and every word has nothing at all to do with Christianity. As a matter of fact, it smacks right in the face of things Christ himself spoke of. Job 12:7) But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: 8) Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 21904037 United States 02/28/2013 04:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You know weeding through some of the idiots' responses on this site is tedious. First of all, to whomever said there will be no pope for Easter, we can't even be sure when the fuck calendar wise "Easter" really was, when the Christ rose from the grave. Secondly, again this is obvious to many on this site, but the pope is just a figurehead. He is not truly nor ever has been the true representation of God to mankind. Religion is in yourself, each and every one of you. Look deep, the power is in you, the knowledge is in YOU! Everone, and I mean everyone from the infant that didnt live past birth to the 105 year old... has a purpose to be a lesson or impact someone else in a way that was necessary for their growth in this life. Some, many, fail these lessons and are just going to have to repeat life in another setting but the lessons they need to learn and the growth they need is still there. We are but novices that live in this plain of existence. When you step back sometimes you can see the absurdity of it all... we have to work a job we dont care about for "money" so we can provide and do other things? We have to abide by rules set by other people? (most of us that arent genetically born with an inability to disinguish right from wrong ALWAYS know in our hearts what is right and what is wrong) We have to live in this forced path from birth? I mean you dont have to, but fate, whatever you call it, catches up eventually you need to face the challeneges and overcome the lessons set out for you from before birth and through your existence until you understand the universal meaning of oneness. |

And the way people made fun of him, of his looks etc..shameful. he wasn't elderly and frail when he was one of Hitler's youth You are very self-righteous. It is not your right to judge. |
