Most of the systems appear to be strikingly similar to Russian designs. Why does our supposed friend, Russia, arm Iran with such weapons? :savetata: Favorite Quote - "I just fucking love outer space, it has all those planets and stars and shit." - Mister Obvious 2009 |

The Israeli Navy has oufitted some sub launched missiles that are nuclear capable. For some reason Dolphin class German subs come to mind. These hi-speed underwater missiles are a direct response to them and the US Naval presence in the Gulf. Again- they view these as defensive weapons. I know you all do not agree, but the logic that they use is different.\ Why are Israeli subs in the PERSIAN gulf? Hence, from the perspective of Iran, its very defensive. |

Ask yourself a better question.....why does the US and UK supply Iran secretly. Using front companies in the UK to by-pass the UN. Do you remember the US saying Saddam had WMD, well guess what....they were US WMD. That's how they knew. They gave Saddam allsorts to test when Iraq was fighting Iran. |
Look AroundYou User ID: 76856 Canada 04/02/2006 02:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Let me see: The country that pioneered the atomic, hydrogen, and neutron bomb, not to mention the military aspects of HAARP, countless biological experiments, and fuel-air bombs (not to mention the highest rates of fire gunships on the planet), is saying that Iran has an "aggressive" military program. How's that again? We - the US - for better or for worse, are histories all-time undisputed champions of "kill humans technology" and we're whining about a radar dodging missile because it's being developed by Iran? Rich, huh? We note that the US is planning to test a large enough explosion to cause a mushroom cloud in Nevada. Seems to me that's indicative of an "aggressive" military program, too. Or the pot calling the kettle black. [link to urbansurvival.com] |
