Historical booms and "strange sounds" from the 1800s and 1900s. They precede geological upheaval!
With all the booms that have been going on there have been a lot of questions.
I've been covering most recent boom activity in previous threads and have been pointing that it's geological.
I haven't seen much talk or posts anywhere covering historical booms so I'm going to go ahead and document some historical events here.

Perhaps from a Historical point of view it'll help us better understand what's going on.

I will start from oldest to most recent reports:

USGS themselves even admit geological booms as a reality. "Earthquake Booms" is a quote from themselves.
They go on to say "no one knows for sure what causes them".
However they are well documented throughout history.

Once such example was the New Madrid earthquakes of 1811-1812, quote from USGS:
"There are accounts of "artillery"-like sounds that were said to have occurred before or during the New Madrid earthquakes of 1811-1812."

historalboomsnew

[link to earthquake.usgs.gov]

There were booming noises 18 months leading up to the 7.3 earthquake in Charleston, South Carolina earthquake of 1886:

boomscarolina

Booms leading up to the 8.1 earthquake in Assam 1897:

historalbooms1

The 7.8 earthquake in San Francisco of 1908 is well known but what isn't is that rumbling noises preceded that earthquake as well:
boomssanfran

and yet another such occurrence preceding the Caldiran-Muradiye 7.3 earthquake of 1976:

boomscaldiran

You can read about all of this from a 1979 issue of Science magazine even titled: "natural explosive noises"

Here's a link to a file of it

Few things I would like to point out...

These booms are natural and well documented throughout history.
There's many reports where BOOMS and unexplained sounds preceded massive earthquakes.
Lastly such occurrences happened in the 1800s and early 1900s before "fracking" and "haarp", I'm pointing that out because soo many people like to blame everything on man these days.

As far as all the United States is concerned with the massive amounts of "boom reports" and how there already has been many geological connections which is covered here: Thread: Booms COVER UP.. Due to New Madrid WAKING UP! Dec/Jan review of proof and USGS getting owned!
It wouldn't be that far off is strongly consider there is a massive plate adjustment pending.
Booms preceded many massive earthquakes throughout history, so it is indeed something to pay attention to and not just blindly dismiss.

good stuff, thanks.

did you catch the huge CME today off the sun? to me it looked as big as the Nov 2003 one. Or bigger. People should be thankful it went the other way.

i really think that this is the main reason for these booms (or whatever sounds) we see reported today too. This is what we call "alive" when we talk about the planet.
So i guess every underground movement, gives its own signals, despite the signs we can see and feel (like volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, mineral deposit collapses, hasm forming, plate breaks etc).
In simple language, when something happens deep underground but has no real effect on the surfuce of the planet, sends waves out anyway. And the fact that we can "hear" them, it probably means that the atmospheric conditions (special ones?) make them "hearable".
So if we hear booms or sounds in the atmosphere, it means the depths are moving, and if this movement insists or repeats, in the end we will (or probably) have "visual" results.

think you may just have something there OP.

There has been a lot of unknown sounds in the Windsor/Detroit area. I've thought it was seismic in nature and now your post seems to support my thoughts. Edgar Cayce said the great lakes would drain into the Mississippi. If the NMSZ goes (and it will) I'm sure it would run all the way up to the great lakes. Actually I've had a dream of a fault running up from Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and up the St Lawrence River.

Thanks again BL for getting the truth out!

Most people in the area around the NMSZ are totally unprepared for what is about to happen, I think it is criminal that the government is not urging people to move away from this zone.

I'm sure you have saved at least one life and deserve much thanks.

Ever think about posting on the "other" conspiracy site? There are many knowledgeable folks on there (as well as paid disinfo agents) who may be able to get the word out.

I hope nothing like that happens. I've been noticing a low rumbling noise on and off for months now that cause me to feel unsettled. I'm about 2 hours west of Detroit.

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” – Carl Sagan

Best research about booms I've found to date.

It's the illuminati's workers blsting holes in the earth to get ready for the return of Jesus. This is so they can hide like the rats that they are...Isaiah 2:10 Crawl into caves in the rocks. Hide in the dust from the terror of the LORD and the glory of his majesty.

This bit makes me worry:

"There are accounts of "artillery"-like sounds that were said to have occurred before or during the New Madrid earthquakes of 1811-1812."

I mean, remember my thread a couple weeks ago from central portugal loud booms? They sounded exactly like artillery"-like sounds!
