yes i know but it is more in your face now . its bs.

They just try to cash in on what they think is working at the time (saw, hostel etc) and (the ring and the grudge etc).

Right now, partially due to the big success of Walking Dead, look for more zombie stuff in movies and tv.

Fuck that was some good fucking shit.

American Mary is a bit gory but the twisted twins directed and star in it, and it's funny and intelligent imho. Their college piece, Dead hooker in a trunk is hysterical . All a matter of taste, or lack thereof :)

The attention span of today's average movie goer factors into why psychological thrillers aren't as popular. Everything has to be intour face and gorey and loud and flashy. Except there's no wow factor in any of that.

I agree though, give me a psychological theiller any day.
