heard repeated booms in Moore OK a couple days ago at work and no one knew what it was.. i wanted to ask on here but got caught up in one of my periodic bans.. it sounded like a small pack of black cats on the 4th of July except a bit louder. like freaking pipe bombs. the ceiling shook a bit. is that what you guys are hearing?

I'm about 10 miles away between Waxahachie and Ennis (right behind the racetrack for the locals who know highway 287).

I thought I heard a faint boom tonight, but I thought it might be a car exploding at the drag strip, as they do every so often on Friday and Saturday nights.

If it was louder in Waxahachie than where I am, it probably wasn't anything at the track. But as dim as it was at my house, it was probably something much closer to the ground rather than up high since the noise didn't propagate very far.


For anyone wondering what general area of Texas this is, Waxahachie is about 20 miles south of downtown Dallas on I-35.

There are thunderstorms in n. Texas with some winds. Probably just thunder

Every 10 minutes we're hearing what sounds like artillery booms in the distance. Shaking the house. Can't imagine what it sounds like closer to them. I'm about 40 miles from McGuire. Anyone else hearing this? Dog is going crazy

Meteors carry electromagnetic currents within our atmosphere,could be some space material giving a sound off. Fireballs,comets and asteroids seem to be plentifull

a nasty headache started wednesday night/thursday morning
had the same one today early afternoon.

my wife had a headache all day today too. I couldn't tell you the last time I had one before this week!
