Just finished another new beat. (03/10/2013) If you have a couple of minutes, feel free to listen and tell me what you think.

Repetitious piano, drop some guitar in there to break the piano reps.

What software you using. I just got magix music mx pro or sumtin like that and did a quick chop. I may post it if this thread is still around in the day

Im a musician, your missing alot.

a lead and a high lead for a start. You need to create depth, and make it not sound repetitive as fuck!

For lead- A simple extension of your piano cords.
e.g. use the first 3 notes of your cord and add another two. in a pattern.

then for a high, make it the same as the previous lead but where you go low go high this time.

Keep the reverb a little higher on one of the lead and be sure to eq so it doesnt sound muddled.

Perhaps some white noise up and down for transitions.

Cymbals, fx etc

The back beat is ok, but way too repetitive, the piano is too loud, needs some variety in the melody, go minor key with that or something, change the instrument voice of the piano to some thing else like a Saxophone maybe. Idk.

I did this in windows movie maker by tossing some pics and rip a riff in magix music maker 2013, than slap it al together and utube it up

Sounds good what kind of production software do you use?

The beat is good, but you need to delete some of the piano and add some other sounds.

You songs Needs a Baseline though stick one on it and it should do wonders.

Try sorting out the structure too
