EMS doesnt just do whatever it wants in a crime scene.

This was an active crime scene which means EMS/FIRE cannot enter without law enforcement escort, and which means there is a staging area outside the crime scene for EMS that will be designated by law enforcement. In this cae, that staging area can be heard called out as "sandy hook fire dept" in the scanner recordings.

EMS and Law Enforcement dont do things by haphazard random action. They go by PROTOCOLS and RULES and LAWS in an event like this.
This was an active shooter scenario and most importantly and active crime scene. AGAIN, in an active crime scene, EMS KNOWS they cannot enter it at will but must wait for law enforcement to clear for safety and also determine their staging area. The EMS crews would not be standing there in the parking lot because they would be at the DESIGNATED STAGING AREA!

In an active crime scene, law enforcement can take the responsibility of determining dead and injured and which of the dead may need CPR and when and how to get the injured out instead of using EMS for that. They are trained for that. That is protocol. What part of that do you not understand?

YOU might run around like a chicken with your haad cut off without regard for rules doing random things if you were in a shooting scene like this. LAW ENFORCEMENT AND EMS DO NOT.
