Sandy Hook: Very detailed New Yorker article
I'm sorry if this has already been addressed - the search function doesn't seem to be working yet, as far as trying to check.

A really long New Yorker article which fills in quite a few timeline items--or, could, at least, if it's accurate:

Hopefully this link will work:

Are you talking about the article written by Rachel Aviv?

That article was written to give skeptics "reasonable" explanations for the absence of pictures, interviews, and observations from Newtown Bee staffers who were at SHE from the beginning. In other words, as smooth as it is, it is still damage control. The New Yorker waited more than two months to say anything, and when they did they simply picked out some of the major unanswered questions and "answered" them.

Hmm...I don't have a subscription, and the link I gave was to something that looked like an off-site copy of the original article. I'll see if I can find a better one, though it worked fine for me.

That's so bizarre. I have no subscription, and the article popped up in some kind of aggregator site, with full text. Now the link takes me to the paywall. The full text must be available somewhere...

Alright, I just clicked on the link again and this time it worked fine.

It's not the original New Yorker article, it's a text copy with references, stored at "General OneFile," whatever that is.

At any rate, I'm going to paste a copy into a WP doc and put it in the Sandy Hook folder:

I know someone pointed out that this article is full of disinformation - just want it to be available so we can read between the lines if possible.

Thank you AC...I actually found it again and added a PDF of it to the public folder linked above.

The title is "Local Story," by Rachel Aviv, for the New Yorker.

The foot wound is not mentioned in the Time article you linked and a bullet wound to the foot couldn't be construed as a false alarm.

The New Yorker article was designed to "explain" some of the major problems with the Sandy Hook narrative. For example, why don't we have any pictures of the little girl running out covered in blood? The children who ran out of Soto's classroom? The broken glass? The hatchback with its doors open? Black sweatwhirts? Ted Varga and the teachers who escaped from a window? The hundreds of students and dozens of teachers being evacuated? Barbara Sibley and another mom hiding by the dumpster? The article is meant to be damage control by shifting the attention to the tender sensibilities of those who would be upset by seeing a limp child being carried or by descriptions of the anxiety of the victims' families.

In other words Aviv's article is ex post facto damage control.

Good catch, Fred!

Also, why don't we hear anything about the other child that died at the hospital? In all these stories, I've only read about 1 girl.
