Yeah just noticed that. They seem to be growing in magnitude

With all the interest i have had researching eq's over the last 8 years...you would think I would have an eq kit ready to go in house and car while living part time on the west coast....shall put that on TO-DO list pronto!

Yeah you should be prepared. I'm in Ontario, hopefully nothing going on here.

Be watching for over an hour now.

Heard that on the radideo. Was not too long ago when people would laugh that a small quake on or off the coast happened. Aaaah Cal is going to sink... Seems people are waking up that the quakes are frequent and increasing in size. That case of wine is going to taste good when things have come to pass...

I have been watching too. Seems to be getting a bit stronger as the day wears on.

A 3.3 in central California. Seems that fault along the whole coast is active tonight. REALLY shallow too.

Anything to worry about for those folks with the mag around 4.5 or lower?

California is on a different fault line from BC.

If you go to the USGS map for the US and pull it down until you can see W Canada, you'll see that there is a plate line that extends from Alaska south to California. So it is not one continuous fault, but the faults may occur right at the edge of the plates. So they are part of a system.

nothing felt in Vancouver, but putting the eq pack back in the truck tomorrow
