I'm 22 years old, and i'm not getting married. For the above reasons. ^

I roam the planet like a free bird. I had a girlfriend, but mostly when we did something fun i could pay. She was starting about living together and in the future she wanted kids.

living together is alright. But that's not my destiny or how you want to call it.

I prefer to travel the world. And help people who are in worst condition then we do. She did not agree with that, So i got pissed and let my GLP spirit come out on her. She was shocked for awhile.

I ended the relationship after 2 years. she was pissed when i told her, she stalked me for a few days, and kept texting me. She told me that i was cheap with paying stuff for her.

2 reasons i broke up with her.

That future child idea, sheeping.

Sure there might be non material woman. But they are rare.

Marriage is an ancient tradition that doesn't mean anything to anyone anymore. Many years ago, a married couple would keep their vows and stay married for life through thick or thin. Nowadays, there is a higher rate of infidelity, domestic violence and family dysfunction combined with an overly litigious society. I'm guessing it's all due to a downfall of morals and values.

My dad was an abusive asshole to my mom so I dont trust men on a deep level.
I dont really ever get lonely, so I dont need it for companionship.
I can get sex whenever I want so I dont need it for that.
I never wanted kids.
I was never a fan of the institution of marriage to begin with....it is too much work, having a 2nd full time job cooking and cleaning while he watches tv.
I have enough friends and lots of activities to occupy my time.

Thanks to all the fighting and arguing of my parents I already held a disdain for marriage when I was but a child, I felt very relieved when they divorced as the tense atmosphere really got to me. And besides that I lived the better part of my life alone, got my heart crushed in many different ways to the point of being grind to dust, not easy to glue dust together, best to sweep up the dusty crap and throw it in the garbagecan lol.

Don't play the game when she pulls the victim card. Call her out on it! Do it all the time. Your father is worn out. He's tired, that's why he won't stand up to her because he's lived with it for this long.
