Drudge Breaking: U.S. bombers practicing nuclear strike on North Korea

United States B-52 bombers carried out simulated nuclear bombing raids on North Korea as part of ongoing U.S.-South Korean military exercises, Pentagon officials said on Monday.

Pentagon press secretary George Little told reporters that B-52 bombers from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, conducted a training mission over South Korea March 8 during war games known as Exercise Foal Eagle.

“It’s not any secret that we are in the midst of sending a very strong signal that we have a firm commitment to the alliance with our South Korean allies,” Little said.

Omg it's true... Pentagon confirms North Korea has mobile ICBMs (Russian)... North Korea can hit anywhere in the world.

Why use something as old and clunky as a B-52 when they have Stealth Bombers, Cruise Missiles, and Submarines?

North Korea has been supplied logistically by Chinese and Russian Missile technology and yes Mobile ICBM's.

Just one of these popped off over the middle of the county could knock out the entire power grid. Military estimates up to 80 percent of the US population would die in the following 3 months from civil disorder and diseases like cholera.

B-52's are fly by wire, the old school planes that don't rely on modern electronics. They can harden their modern planes and stealth bombers all they want, nothing works perfectly. If DPRK were able to actually hit us with an EMP and fried our electronics in some way, the older planes would be least affected, such as B-52's.

Wouldn't it be funny to find out that most of North Korea lives underground in cities and tunnels?

Why else when you look from satellite at night is N. korea basically dark except for a few spots?

We know they have underground bunkers for firing off missiles. Ones they can fire from, then drive to the next location and fire again.

So what if they just have a small population above ground that farms and trades from place to place.

But in reality those farmers are just a front for the BILLIONS that live underground???!!!

Think about it. They are a subterranean culture that lives underground. They are forced to breed a massive army just for war all underground.

That's why they don't want people visiting them much and taking pictures or exploring...They don't want anyone to know that for the last hundred or more years they have just been digging and digging all over the place building underground cities full of people that want to kill everyone else!

This would be one of the only preemptive strikes we have carried out in the 60 years I would support. This is an obvious threat.

If we flew stealth bombers over NK, they wouldn't know it. The purpose of flying the planes in a practice drill is so that NK SEES them. It's a show of force.

Can't we have planes flying around over by NK that can shoot down a missile on its way over here or what? Seems like that wouldn't be all that hard to put together. Just a few dozen planes in the air at all times ready to go shoot down missiles as they go up and over?

Or do you have to get em before they go up into space? It seems like they must have some way to stop them, they've had this long to come up with it.
