Ive been watching events unfold for the last 4 years,everyday EQ3D with my coffee.
The Fiji location has always grabbed my attention. Why?
How thick is the Crust? 70km or 42 miles at it thickest,like near the Himalayan's.

and just look at the Depths of Quakes just for today.
Keeping the Crust thickness in mind as you scroll.
Looks quite normal per say depth wise,until FIJI.

Just to list a few. type Fiji in the common search field
at USGS and browse FIJI quakes the last 5 years.
Every time I see Fiji compared to any location's I never see this kind of depth.
Those are insane depths.
500-600 plus KM
If an island rose outta that location I wouldn't be a bit surprises.
Like an egg in boiling water when it cracks.
