i worked at disneyland for 14 years - it was an incredible experience - supporting the park provided a great many opportunities to hone or learn new skills that i still use to this day.

one of my fave experiences would be the daily inspection of the park on a bicycle in the wee hours before the masses were let in.

i understand the whys/hows some people would not like what Disney represents (as it's strayed quite a bit from Walt's vision).
All in all, we really did care about our guests - especially the children.
Disney's movies and cartoons were a huge influence on me growing up so it was an honor to participate in passing along some of that magic.
