Why did she break my heart?

i would say it was more like...


she felt like an invisible butterfly
inside a jar on the shelf of 'the great and powerful'
smoke and mirrors inside and out
so blindly she uncrinkled her broken wings
trained herself, learning with silence and intuition
found her home within her heart
then flew the jar to a safe breaking point
and freed her stolen light

no change of heart, a change in me

So what relation does she have to Lilith?

let me get a little less abstract:

let's say maybe lilith didn't know her name until the jar broke. to call herself that once she knew what it had meant, would in a way be reimprisoning. however, it would also kind of be impossible, because no jar could hold the soul she had become.

i would like to add, however, on the comparison of lilith to current archetype:

it's not about surrendering your will once you realize you have it.

it's about owning it. never, ever surrender your will. doesn't matter how nice he may ask. the answer is a big..
