I guess more specifically, who will control all of the military's weaponry and vehicles? Could a handful of patriot rebel generals garner enough support from subordinates to overthrow the actual enemy and fight along side of the common man? We've seen it in history and we've seen it in movies- wonder what the reality of this would be. |

Logic tells me that very few, if any, of the people who are sent to kill american civilians will be anything other than apprehensive about doing so, regardless of the reason that they are given for why they need to do it. It makes sense to me that most of these people will consider it a miracle from God on high if someone, ANYONE, that they can recognize as an officer that ranks above them, gives them orders to protect instead of attack said citizens. They will not particular as to who gives said order. They will simply be grateful that someone that they can recognize as ranking above them did so. This puts a lot of responsibility in the hands of the lower ranking officers. The power will be in their hands to turn the tide. I firmly believe that if they choose to protect and not to attack, not only will the Federal forces side with them, but the armed American civilians as well. at that point, i would hate to be the select few that set this whole thing up. |
