ANYBODY ELSE SWITCH FROM REGULAR MILK TO ORGANIC? YIKES!!!!
I don't drink that much milk. Just have it in my coffee. Occasionally on cereal and oatmeal. But about a month ago, I was thinking about those hormones and such being injected and fed to cows and switched to organic milk.

I won't go into graphic details, but first I had horrible cramping and suffice to say things came out that I haven't seen in years. Lasted a couple of days, now I'm fine. Feel better.

It was really like my lower intestine was irritated by the regular milk and I didn't even realize it. Happened when I ate soy products also. Like that soy milk.

Anyone else switch over and notice this?

Just curious.

Course no!

It was just organic.

I tell you there was/is a real difference.

Same thing happened when I had a little of that soy milk.

Interesting. I'm a vegetarian who only drinks milk in coffee. Soy milk in cereal and everything else. Eden Soy is my favorite! The rest taste like, well, chalk. Soy milk in coffee is not recommended.

My ultimate goal is to get off coffee too. But that's not something that is going to happen soon probably...

I switched to organic milk a long time ago because of the hormone thingie and other bad things. I didn't notice any changes in the gut, just a better taste. I also switched to organic butter, half 'n half, cottage cheese, eggs...in short, all dairy. It's more expensive, but a lot safer.

Cow's milk is for infant cows.....as logic should tell.....Drink soy...the effects of soy are going to be a bit gassy at first because soy is a bean. It goes away after your body gets used to it. I know, I drink soy milk, eat soy and veggie patties, take Estriven, which is part soy supplement. As I said before.....humans are not supposed to consume cow's milk.....it is for baby cows. cow

No changes, huh? Well, maybe nothing was wrong or developing into something wrong. I tell you it felt like something was really, really irritated.

The egg thing, only buy the ones that say "free-range no antibiotics etc., etc." Even if the chickens weren't fed antibiotics, I don't want them locked up.

Happy chickens ... happy eggs.

Just bought organic butter last Saturday. Haven't noticed any difference other than the taste. It does taste better. Smoother? Something like that.

Never had any problem with organic milk.

However, I hate to burst your bubble about 'free-range' - government standards are, as long as the chicken can turn around in it's cage comfortably, it is considered 'free-range'.

Been drinking only organic milk for years now. I don't remember any symptoms with the change-over, but I wouldn't touch "regular" milk today.

I mianly only have milk in my tea or a bowl of cereal but with a spaghetti dinner I like to drink a glass of it.

I wish I knew someone with a cow, when I lived in Humboldt County our neighbor had a couple cows and gave us milk. He only homogonized it by mixing the two cow's milk together. It would separate and give us a bowl of cream for our coffee. It tasted so different from store-bought milk and so much like what I remembered milk tasting like when I was a kid and it got delivered to our house I could never drink that puss-filled crap from the supermarket anymore.

COWS MILK IS GREAT. USING LOGIC EMPLOYED HERE, CANT EAT SOY BECAUSE ITS ALIAEN PROTEIN. IN FACT IT IS , FULL OF FEMALE HORMOES, MINERAL BLOCKERS AND OTHER MAJOR POISONS.

THATS THE CON, THEY FILL PERFECTLY GOOD COWS MILK WITH HOMONES AND ANTIBIOTICS TO GET YOU ONTO THE EVEN WORSE TOXIC SOY.

ORGANIC MILK, FULL CREAM IS FINE.

NO ITS NOT PUS, NOR VOWS BLOOD, ITS MILK, FUCKING IDIOTS.

GIVING A BABY SOY FORMULA IS THE EQUIVALENT OF FEEDING IT FIVE FEMALE CONTRACEPTIVE PILLS A DAY. EVER WONDER WHY BABY GIRLS ARE BECOMING WOMEN AND BABY BOYS, GIRLS.

THIS SAME OLD CRAP JUST KEEPS ON COMING BACK

STEP ONE, CUT THE SOY, CANOLA, TRANSFATS, ASPARTAME, MERCURY, FLUORIDE.

FATS DONT MAKE YOU FAT, CARBS DO. YOU NEED FATS, ESPECIALLY SATURTED FATS.

------------------

You're not bursting my bubble. And sometimes bubbles need to be busted.

The eggs I buy state that the chickens are not in CAGES at all.

Now I didn't personally investigate this, but I do know I get sick (mildly - but queasy) from chickens that are fed these things. That's why I searched out the other eggs. That and I wanted to support people that just let the chickens roam around and get into trouble.

Now if these guys keep the chickens in cages anyway .... what can I say. I try to do the right thing.

Re: ANYBODY ELSE SWITCH FROM REGULAR MILK TO ORGANIC? YIKES!!!!
above post is correct about the pus levels in american milk

unfortunately, our benevolent governmasonts allow twice the pus levels in milk that europeans do

this is due to bovine growth hormone causing bladder infections and concomitant high pus levels due to the infections

bgh is supposedly sourced from the dod, who wanted bigger more muscly soldiers to drag their crap around

ain't life grand

Yeah, I had an uncle that had a farm. Remember EVERYTHING tasting different. Also had bees on his property and got fresh honey and honeycombs. Man, that was delish!!!! And he had a cow. Fresh milk. And chickens. Fresh eggs. And they all used to walk around. The cows were so nice. Used to lick your arm. I was kind of grossed out cause they'd leave this saliva trail, but they were cute.

But the veggies were what I remember. And tomatoes. Grocery store food just doesn't taste the same. And the green grocer I used to go to went out of business.

wall

He had really fresh stuff. Haven't found a replacement. Just walk to the nearest organic foods stores. But their stuff doesn't taste like his. He gave me the skinny on veggies and the grades. Grocery stores buy the cheapest veggies which equates to them being the oldest. Therefore, they have the shortest shelf life. So that's why they go bad so fast once you get them home!!!!

Yup, they work all the angles.

The thing I wish I had done was ask my uncle how the heck he grew all that stuff.

I also drink soy milk instead of cow's milk. I've lost a few pounds and inches doing so. I feel much better. I never was fond of cow's milk.
My son was on soy formula due to a milk allergy as a baby. That was back in 1997. Now they try babies on a formula without the milk protein instead of soy due to the hormone factor. My littlest one was on a formula for milk protein allergies for a couple of months due to prematurity. Unless you consume a bunch of soy, the hormones should not be a factor, man or woman. We all have female hormones, like it or not fellows.

So you drink the unsweetened kind?

What brand if you don't mind my asking? Buy it in a grocery store or organic health store?

If cow milk is only good for baby cow, then it should follow that soy milk is only good for baby soy beans.
